Re: Annoyance over forward passes

what i found strange was that as Tom is trying to ground the ball an Irish player dives in from the side and goes off his feet obscuring the view. If he had done that at a breakdown it would have been a penalty so why was it not a penalty try and therefore a yellow card ? Is it the case that once a...

Re: Annoyance over forward passes

Also, whilst having a go at referees and TMOs, before Tom Young's try was disallowed on Tuesday, the on-field decision was a try, presumably meaning that if the TMO couldn't see a reason NOT to award it, the try should have stood. All the TMO said was that he couldn't see the grounding, so back to t...

Re: Annoyance over forward passes

The ball may be thrown in straight at the line out, but if it is straight over the heads of the players in the thrower's team then the defending team can't compete - so they don't compete and line outs are effectively unopposed. throw it down the gap. Hooker goes to touchline in front of assistant ...

Re: Next week versus Bath then Irish!

Well, after a bit more hunting I've found it - apparently on channel 451! However, I don't seem to be able to get this via my new subscription :smt013 , anybody know how to?

Re: Next week versus Bath then Irish!

By "showing " do they mean on actual tv channel or are they including streaming games on the bt sport website? I think the latter which is why you would have to register for the pass if you are not a BT sport subscriber According to BT Sport's own website: "BT Sport to show live cove...

Re: Next week versus Bath then Irish!

Two (very different) things! Firstly, BT Sport claim to be showing ALL fixtures, yet our mid-week game is nowhere to be seen! Anyone know which channel it is going to be shown on? Secondly, if we go back a few years to the start of Sarries 'glory' years, didn't they just hoof the ball up the pitch o...

Tannoy

Sitting in the 'large stand' (can never remember the name it's given each season!) it seemed that the volume of the PA system was way too loud, resulting in it being difficult to understand what was being said. And, after the game, the music was definitely too loud. Last season it was great so why m...

Re: The new App

Well the App failed to function at the game last night - Matchday Live just wasn't! By the end of the game (and this was with a very good 4G signal) the app was still attempting to update the score and commentary, but the score remained resolutely at 0 - 0 with no commentary.

Re: Team Vs Treviso

Treviso showed Tigers how to handle the ball - lovely quick and generally accurate passing, especially given the conditions. I was disappointed to see Tigers sticking to the 'tried, tested and found wanting' take the ball in, create a ruck, scrum half has a look around and then makes the pass. If th...

Re: Tigers fixtures - Smartphone sync

Well, the LV Cup games have now been transferred to my Outlook calendar and the Tigers vs Glos game would appear to be being played from Sat 4th November 2017 at 3pm until Sat 28th April 2018 at 5pm - one hell of a game, especially as they will also be playing another game against Bath (at the Rec) ...

Anyone know what material the Classic Jerseys are made from, especially for those of us who don't want a shiny, slippery player type?

Re: 3G & 4G Pitches - Risk Of Injury?

There's a photo of Cashton on the Beep site http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/39474178 which shows him with what look like grazes or burns on one knee - caused by the Allianz pitch?
