Re: Hipkiss to Bath confirmed
Sad to loose such a committed Leicester man, and someone who is so strong in the tackle - keeps his feet whilst all those around him are trying to loose theirs. Whilst his most memorable contribution to the Club was his last minute try against Saracens in the Guinness Premiership final last year (sc...

Re: Ellis retires due to injury
What, even my slightly rude comment about his baby face?
Help - I'll have to keep away from home matches in the near future. Fortunately I don't think he knows where I live. Not even the right city......

Re: Leicester Tigers Cycling Shirt - Latest Update *HELP NEEDED*
What about the Matt Hampson angle? Has this been pursued enough? The Quins shirt is sold with money going to Wooden Spoon and Great British Bike Ride, rather than as a pure club item. Would also add further encouragement to Tigers marketing to support it.

Re: Ellis retires due to injury
My first memory of Harry Ellis was watching him leap over a ruck at The City Ground (Nottingham Forest) in a Heineken Cup semi-final against Llanelli. Cover out to the left, cover out to the right, Harry picked the only route without cover, namely straight through the middle. He leapt over the pile ...

Re: Ellis retires due to injury
Retired? It's only been in the last season or two that he has looked old enough to be out on the pitch without his mother! Sad loss of a deeply committed player, full of the Tiger's spirit, international class and local born and bred. When we we see his like again? (O.K. Ben Youngs is very committed...

Re: Sponsors of The Premiership
Does this mean we get to keep the Guinness Premiership trophy? Almost certainly. Who would want it back, and why? If you look in the trophy cabinet (top floor bar in club house) you will find other such trophies, e.g. the Zurich Premiership trophy. JPS cup was won outright, by winning three finals ...

Re: **UPDATE - Leicester Tigers Cycling Shirt***
Ooh, might be tempted.... To what? Discuss horses, road use, cyling generally, cyclists, road tax and council ownership on the chit chat forum? :smt017 Yes, but I'd need to be wearing an appropriate shirt at the time. Something that made it clear where I was coming from. Say, a cycling shirt, to co...

Can't think of a cheaper way to get from Leicester to Twickenham. And you get to chat with Leicester fans on the way down.
Not done it since I was a little kid, but parents have done it many a time. Well organised, good fun, and great value.

I have a feeling that one team isn't going to 'turn up' (i.e. mentally, not physically). Unfortunately I'm not bold enough to predict which one.
One team to win by more than 20 points.

Re: FAQ re Stadium development
I think it is necessary to get a balanced view on a pint of Guinness. Where one person will say that it is OK, another may dispute. What we need are experienced Guinness drinkers. Maybe people who have drunk a pint at the Guinness Warehouse in Dublin. Both sexes need to be represented, as do geograp...

Re: CT is doing a 230 mile Walk4Matt
Seriously, though, there should be no reason why you can't get your aching limbs rubbed down by the club physio after you arrive. My mum got treatment from the club doctor after getting caught out by a speed camera on the way to the ground* - wouldn't let her take her seat until he was happy that sh...

And the repetitive call for cheerleaders! Mostly from me and Bill, of course. But if they GAVE us cheerleaders, then me and Bill wouldn't have to constantly request them. I did note the grammatical error here Kinny. The split infinitive (to constantly request) is the most glaring. Contrary to what ...

A stress ball in the shape of a rugby ball, but with Tigers branding. So that I have something to get rid of the stress when watching another tight finish?
