Re: Champions' Cup Quarter finals 2024

Great to see two English sides in the semi finals but I don’t think they will progress any further, Toulouse and Leinster will be far to strong for them, should be a great final if those two get to the final. Leinster are in South Africa for the next two weeks. Saints have to travel up the A50. Pre...

Shame that the RFC salary cap hinders English teams against French and Irish teams, only exception is Saints who to be fair are playing great rugby.

Should be a walk in the park vs an Injury/banned Munster team.

Do I get sin binned for such an observation?

Shambles, I feel for the travelling supporters who have forked out a lot of hard earned cash to witness a gutless performance.

If it’s down to form, Tigers may not win, if it’s down to discipline Tigers may come out the wrong side of that too based on last years game. Two tries to one last year at WR and lost by a point. Yep, Saints forwards have a bit more grunt than before, their backs have always been great to watch. Sti...

Saints are impressive, never been a fan of Mitchell but he’s had a blinder. Long day at the office next Saturday by the look of things.

Score line flatters the Ireland national team!!

They should just wear green and be done with it!!

Watching on RTE2 here in Cork. Jamie Heaslip just said that ‘Leinster can operate at 78% and win, Tigers have to be at 100% to even have a chance! Let’s hope Tigers don’t drag us down to their level.’
LOL!!

I simply hate the autumn internationals and how it affects us.
The sooner they scrap them the better.
It’s not Autumn!!

Saint penalty count and subsequent sin bins alone will see Tigers comfortably over the line.

The IRFU do spread the talent around……. a bit….I can think of two (without Google, so guess there is more). Jordi Murphy was moved from Leinster to Ulster, while Joey Carbery went south to Munster.

You say everyone will still use Welford Road.
I thought the same with Landsdowne Road when it was renamed to the Aviva Stadium, no one now refers to it by its original name.

No, I was watching on a flaky streaming website and when it froze with Saints in possession I knew when streaming resumed it would be bad news for Tigers and the updated scoreboard would reflect that.

Re: Murphy coaches and relegation

Two years ago Saints sack Jim Mallinder and this very forum some (arrogantly it could be said), were cherry picking which Saints stars they would like at Welford Road. Saints already had Sam Vesty and then got the signature of Chris Boyd. A few month later the Tigers board we’re looking for a world ...

All Black duo Matt Proctor and Owen Franks are expected to arrive at Franklin's Gardens on Thursday.
Chris Boyd working wonders and attracting world class talent and been in charge at FG for one Premiership game longer than Geordan.
