Re: Freddie Burns coming back to Tigers?
Burns at 30 potentially has 4/5 more seasons as an experienced and effective premiership 10/15, who will have no international call ups, and won’t contribute to a match count of overseas players. He left because Bath wanted him more than we did, not because we didn’t want him. While Freddie might b...

Re: Freddie Burns coming back to Tigers?
Yes Ford,Burns,Henry makes way more sense than Ford,Burns,Bonilla Agreed but apparently Henry is off at the end of the season and a new contract is being discussed with Bonilla, so most likely it will be Ford, Burns and Bonilla, if Burns were to re-join. Madness if that were the case. Like I said F...

Re: Freddie Burns coming back to Tigers?
Burns would be signed as backup to Ford. We also have Bonilla. Henry is apparently leaving at the end of the season.Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Sun Jan 24, 2021 10:12 amPerhaps Ford is leaving................otherwise it would be an odd signing & not a great use of the Salary Cap.

Zack Henry will be leaving apparently so Burns would come in as understudy alongside Bonilla to Ford

Re: Saints v Tigers - 09th January 2021
I'm a bit sceptical of the "derby game" factor (isn't it really just something hyped up by broadcasters to promote their product?) and even more so when there are no crowds and almost none of the players involved are from the area. The game will be won on exactly the same things as any other Premie...

I was thinking this morning that Sarries have been no loss to the Premiership whatsoever. In fact, I sort of forgot about them!

It’s absolutely ridiculous that this is a consideration. I despise these pitches! Every single team should play on grass.Wayne Richardson Fan Club wrote: ↑Fri Dec 18, 2020 5:33 pmNeed to take into account the plastic pitch & any dodgy lower limbs, not sure I would risk Brink, Moroni or Taute.

Re: George Ford and tactics
If you watch the Saints Bristol game you can see that open, attacking rugby IS possible. Stacks of ball in hand, both sides running it and no silly kicking. Not really working for Saints though is it. Would you prefer to see a game like that and be 12th in the table or a kick fest and not be 12th?

Re: Tigers vs Brive
Was like watching a Saracens defensive training session. We always looked in control without getting out of 2nd gear. It was great with no Comms as you could hear the excitement the team had in defence. some of the hits were great - Joe heyes put some big shots in. Steward is 100% the future, he is...

However, I still expect there to be many people moaning how the club have let another one go etc etc etc when his contract expires.RagingBull wrote: ↑Fri Dec 11, 2020 10:13 pmHe confirmed it himself that’s it’s a 7 month contract then 3 year contract to Edinburgh.
So would be very hard to do.
