Exactly… if that had been the ref Tigers had to endure last week, half their team would have been in the bin.

Just back from watching in the pub with no comms and not read any of this so no idea what anyone else thinks I think 3 forward passes in Leinster moves leading to tries 3 deliberate knock ons that should have had yellows.. not given A couple of scrum pens that should have gone the other way Several ...

That might explain things then .. thanks for that .. I certainly thought he looked like he was good enough to make that step up, and was surprised he never made an appearance all season.

I’m curious about Chessum Jnr and why he wasn’t picked above Carter in the cup. Last year he was as impressive if not more so that Carnduff in this years Under 20s 6 nations. So where has he been since? Is he injured? Harlequins brought Cunningham-South ( who played in that same team and was argot a...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Apparently.. sickness bugs are going round the city schools etc so there is the possibility that players with kids have brought it into the camp. If that is the case I would like the club to give some idea of that .. not as an excuse but maybe as at least a mitigating factor. I would hate to be crit...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

I agree with Scuttles point the ball on the floor and the energy and commitment from Glaws versus Tigers players tonight. That was exactly what I saw all game ... every single 50/50 ball was won ball by the Cherry and Whites tonight .. I said it at half time and again at full time ... and when you s...

I think the Pollard input cannot be underestimated in this. If he came from his school he will have very strong contacts there and has probably heard about this kid rising through the age grades for years. Then he will have spoken to the Springbok connections and getting the gen from them too .. Jas...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm

Having watched the Under 20s game today, I thought Carnduff had another really good game and was a little unlucky not to get MOM. I agree with many people that young guys like Illione, , Carnduff, Chessum Jnr, need to be given a shot ahead of the likes of Carter and Rogerson in these types of games....

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

We live in a global world economy. People travel for work often on assignments or secondments for a few years at a time. Baby’s are born .. does that make them from that country (obviously legally it usually does) but should they be forced to play for that country if they happen to be good at sport ...

Re: How to end kick tennis

Agree with mol2 Yet another law that was changed, to the detriment of the game It used to be when the ball is kicked anyone in front of the kicker must retreat until put onside by the kicker or someone behind.. … this not only creates space for a runner in broken field choosing to counter attack but...

Re: Ealing PRC game info

I agree with above .. as soon as I saw that team I knew the issue would be the front row Ealing are clearly no mugs. Beaten weakened Saints and Bristol teams this season .. and whipped all but one Championship team. I thought given the team we put out we did ok. Once their starting front row had gon...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Doesn’t go far enough in my view. The Lawmakers have virtually ruined rugby in the last 40 years! Their constant tinkering with laws, changing a perfectly good set of laws for a set of inferior ones. All designed apparently to improve the game as a spectacle and in fact invariably having the opposit...

Re: Saudi Arabia in talks to buy stake in Tigers

I have the same question as the poster Offside on here. How is part investing in 4 clubs not a conflict of interest?.. I don’t think this would be allowed in football. If they were investing in the whole league then that would be a different matter. Secondly 60 million between 4 clubs is comparative...

Re: 23/24 Injury/Suspension/Absent International List

Saw he was being treated on field v La Rochelle .. looks like same knee he was out with after WC. Great shame for big George .. I think he has been our stand out player since back from that injury and he was definitely Englands stand out player v The Boks in the semi .. I’d like to have seen him and...
