Re: Tigers v Saints (A) - Premiership - Saturday 20th April 2024 - KO: 15-05
Bookies have Saints at long odds on to win (range 4/9 to 2/7). On handicap you can get Tigers +9 with odds of 10/11 so if you think we have a decent chance fill your boots. Saints at 3/10 and Tigers at 5/2 means bookies have 35% chance Tigers win, 65% chance Saints win. That's not long odds at all....

Was it not Ridley who gifted us the game at home to Sarries a couple of seasons back with the late penalty try having seconds earlier missed Dan Kelly commit a foul.

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby
Ealing and one more team coming up would help the existing ten premiership teams survive. I’d have them up next season. Nine home games in the league is not enough. I know Ealing would struggle but there’s nothing forcing them to over spend on wages in an attempt to try and succeed. A couple of seas...

A comfortable bonus point victory in tricky conditions and hopefully with no injuries is all we could hope for. Next week will be a proper test followed by an even bigger one away at Quinns. 8 points or more from them two games and we will certainly be in the play off mix.

Re: Tigers v Exeter (A) - Premiership - Saturday 23rd December 2023 - KO 3-00pm
Today was a beauty of sport moment. A far inferior team somehow hammering a far better side. It happens. How we bounce back is more important. Exeter were terrible. They’ll play far better this season and get nothing. They’ve have had a right touch today. We’ve just had one of them days. Please don’...

Biggest League defeat of the season so far for Newcastle. A team used to losing but who do keep trying to play till the end, a bit like Italy. To totally smash them by 44points in vile conditions is a proper dominant performance. A win at Exeter next up and we really will be flying.

Comfortable win away from home. Just got that look of a team gaining momentum now. Easiest fixture in the league next week to really get the tries flowing and then an away game against a very average Exeter side. Hopefully, by the time we play Bath after Xmas we will be within touching distance of t...

Re: Tigers v Quins (H) - Premiership - Saturday 11th November 2023 KO: 15:05
We are second to bottom of the table and we desperately need points or it becomes a season horriblus. We are actually doing better than last season for the equivalent games. We've just had a bad fixture list for the first few games plus missing 12-14 players. There's still a core of 5-10 players pl...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - Crocodile McKeller: Men at Work
I’m so frustrated to see these games being played whilst a World Cup is on and then, with only 18 games, we are giving away big starts to lesser teams who aren’t missing players like us and with a reduced amount of matches left in order to reel them in. It’s highly likely we will now be bottom after...

Re: Exiles set for Exile?
Squad sizes are a major problem for clubs. I’d like to know how many paid professionals most clubs have. Nine home games in the league isn’t going to pay for all that. I read somewhere that the wage cap is similar to what the top sides in league one in the football pay. If that’s the case then at le...

Re: Tigers v Leinster (A) - Champion Cup - Qtr Final - 07th April 2023 - KO 8:00pm
We seen in the final game of the six nations how the Irish struggled to get over the line against England with the pressure. Hunger after the grand slam with the World Cup coming and the pressure they are under are two reasons whilst I like this as a time to play them. Throw in we are in brilliant f...

Re: Tigers v Leinster (A) - Champion Cup - Qtr Final - 07th April 2023 - KO 8:00pm
Got a feeling we might go well here. Leinster are obviously a top side and lazily all the pundits will be bigging them up. I’ve just got this feeling that we are far more hungry for this than what the recently Grand Slam winning contingent of the Leinster side will be. Yes they’ll obviously be tryin...

Re: Tigers v Clermont (A) - Friday 13th January 2023 - KO 20-00
Definitely a game weekend to look at the larger picture. I know we won there last season but we were in mega form back then without the injury numbers we now have. Even if Wigglesworth followed the advice of people saying go full barrel this week we would probably still get beaten. As well as the ob...

The changes sometimes to me look pre game made. So and so will come off after 55min for example. Bar the Dan Kelly substitution, for obvious reasons, did all the others need to be made. I agree the changes can sometimes make a side lose momentum.
