Re: Attendance for Friday night?

I do hate Friday night games, however. Always take at least 2 hours to get to the ground from Newark and often more. At which point do you get stuck? There are a few ways I know to avoid the traffic as far as Cropwell Bishop. Work is halfway there for me but it's still a pain as my wife has to driv...

Re: Manus full citing judgment document

Brendan Gallagher (Telegrapgh) is on target again :- http://my.telegraph.co.uk/rugby/telegraphrugby/2117/its-disgraceful-to-claim-that-manu-tuilagi-was-provoked-and-his-age-shouldnt-matter-either/ From the article mentioned above: "To admit that Ashton played no significant part in the process...

Re: Cockers & Oconnor behaviour

(and as so many corroborating reports appeared in different papers the following day, I'm not inclined to believe it's all a 'conspiracy')? I have to confess that I didn't read any of the other reports but I wonder if they were commenting on something they themselves heard or something they had rea...

Off the Tigers' website I randomly got L28 Row 35 (best available) and through Ticketmaster L29 Row 18, best I could actually select as a pair.

I would have thought that more competition for a place ensures that you try to improve the areas of your game that are compared unfavourably with your rival, thus making you a better player. Constant "what if we try you at ______ " would probably be counter productive at this level IMHO.

I'm sure that every club in the country dreams of being top of the Premiership, no matter how far away they are. To remove that possibilty, or make it that much further away, is ridiculous. You are effectively saying that aspirations must stop at the top of League 1. Does the RFU (one of the richest...

I only have 2 minor critiscisms really but I think if we do not address them it will cause problems when we meet stronger opposition: 1) I thought we gave away 2 'soft' tries. 1 from an interception and one because we couldn't seem to tackle. 2) Contact skills let us down a few times with too many b...
