Re: AUTUMN INTERNATIONALS 2021

It continues to be an irritation of mine that Internationals are played and there is no gap in the Premiership season. It's about the one thing that football does right! Agreed Agreed, but... Teaching granny to suck eggs here I'm sure, its a combination of football players can and regularly do play...

Re: Full games on Premiership Rugby web site

For each game, it used to be Craig Doyle with a 10 second intro followed by about 11-12 minutes of highlights and nothing else. No discussion by ...

I wish games were won on paper 😂
Based on that according to you we would have been smashed by Exeter...
And lost against Sarries.

The returning Lions will have a massive impact for Sarries. Farrell, George and Malins will add a huge amount of strength to their side.
Still think we’ll have the best No 10 on the field tomorrow :smt002
But he's playing at 15 :smt002 :smt003

It's obvious we're doomed. Stuart Barnes says we'll beat Sarries tomorrow and we are title contenders. Kiss of death :smt005
I thought the same myself when i read the article in the paper (sorry, its behind The Times paywall). Barnesy even put his hand up to "commentator's curse" :smt005

Re: George Ford

I think George not being selected in the England squad could mark the end of his time with Tigers, I know he was bitterly disappointed when his dad was sacked and had to be talked into staying and to fulfill his contract. With not being selected for the England squad he stands to lose tens of thous...

They are elite sportsman who have an incredibly tiny chance of becoming ill and as the vaccines don't prevent transmission they are well within their rights to respectfully decline More salient is the fact that Premiership Rugby insist on the covid red zone to protect the unvaccinated Exeter player...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: There and Back again a Tigers Tale by Steve Borthwick

We’ve signed Tom Cowan Dickie. Does this mean Clares injury is serious then? Speaking about the addition of Cowan-Dickie, Leicester Tigers Head Coach Steve Borthwick said: "Tom is a tough, hard-working and experienced rugby player, who we are pleased to welcome to Leicester Tigers. "With Julián Mon...

Not sure why JVP and Clare haven't made match day squad, injuries?
Dont know about Clare, but hasn't JVP already played in the first 2 games?
Just read that SB has said that Clare is injured. No details as per usual.

Re: Tigers vs Dragons - Saturday 4th September

My worry is more rolling maul tries that are hard to defend. I know Baxter says just put more players in to defend the maul and give space for the attack but we will see. That’s my concern. A three phase game. Kick, line out, maul I think we could be seeing some dreadful games of kick maul repeat. ...
