Re: Tigers v Sale (A) - Premiership - Friday 10th May 2024 - KO: 7:45pm
Two massive points One, he seems to have lost the dressing room, and the result tonight will go a long way to decide that factor Secondly, its blooming obvious the majority the players are not nearly fit enough. Youngs is a prime example. Shocking for Professional Athletes, but its the Head Coach w...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
For the first time in many seasons Ben Youngs will have a proper Summer to first enjoy being with his family then a full preseason with Tigers. He has been a great player for us and England and I for one would like to see him play like Manu always does, with a smile on his face, giving his all as b...

Tigers86 I am encouraged by your comments, for some reason my tv did not record that match, I am still.hoping to pick it up.on a repeat showing. I have seen previous Waratahs matches and have not been excited by what I saw from Perese, he always looked ok but nothing special and did not play for 80...

Re: Tigers v Saints (A) - Premiership - Saturday 20th April 2024 - KO: 15-05
Van Graan joined Bath in 2022 and Dowson joined Saints as assistant coach under Boyd in 2017 and Vesty in 2018. We all know Mckellar joined Tigers in 2023. Love to know who is the longest serving Tigers coach in the last 6 years and how long they lasted?? Saints have been building for a long time, ...

Nothing to say that we can't. How long has van Graan been at Bath, Dowson & Vesty at Saints, and McKellar at Tigers? And Bath and Saints have only really been successful this season.

Re: Championship Clubs Promotion
Is it? What evidence is there for that? Being slightly pedantic, there are minimum requirements around ground size that have that have to be met. There are none on crowd sizes. Obviously though, low crowds = low income = going bust. Being even more pedantic, ground size is not that relevant either ...

Re: Championship Clubs Promotion
Just had a thought one of the problems with promotion for Champinship Clubs is ground size, not supporter size. Is it? What evidence is there for that? Being slightly pedantic, there are minimum requirements around ground size that have that have to be met. There are none on crowd sizes. Obviously ...

Re: Autumn Series 2024
My memory of the Sky coverage of the Premiership and Europe was that each game was squeezed into the smallest time slot that they could (often so that they could devote the maximum time possible to the great God football) and that more time was spent on "coming up on Sky Sports" than on an...

Barrett is the often cited example but this is a player who has played for the Canes at 10, not sure about New Zealand, and has a much greater all round skill set than Steward at this stage of his career. As Tiglon says Steward on the wing makes more sense, in an attacking sense if he gets the ball...

Re: JVP
It amazes me that a 29 year old scrum half who still cannot box kick properly is miraculously somehow now better than the most capped England player in history. I'm no fan of BY but at least he can box kick properly which is a very basic and essential skill of any scrum half. If anyone is deluded e...

Re: Over the cap (again)
Mmm. I expect it was well-hidden, like that other club’s overspending…. Shedhead1 here: Lutontiger - I would be very interested to know which clubs beside Saracens and Tiggers you are talking about please? Can you back it up with evidence? Bob Hi Bob, Lutontiger said "that other club's..."...

Re: JVP
As I said on the match thread, The MOM to JVP was a joke, the Newcastle SC was far better, JVP took his try nicely, but he dithers so much when he eventually gets to the breakdown all impetus is lost. He may not be a very naughty boy but he sure ain't the messiah! As the person choosing POTM said, ...
