Re: Calvisano v Tigers - return fixture next week

We are going to get eaten alive by the Chiefs. That team selection would, but things might improve with a more 1st choice team. Although I doubt it if we stick to the team orders for most of the season, of kick possession away every time we get the ball off the forwards. Only managed to watch the s...

Should've targeted Tompkins a year or two ago, you could see that all he needed were the opportunities, and some good coaching.
Haven't you been reading the other posts on here about the standard of our current coaches? :smt002

-18 now. They'll only need 5 more games to overtake us.
Could even be 4.
the most they could get in 4 games is 20 points that would put them on 2 points we have 4
My poor maths. Oops,

Re: Saints away - Saturday 30th November

That little patch of optimism after the Cardiff win was nice, wasn't it. Yep, a bit like the win over Glaws, followed by a horror show against LI. How we can go from moderate to abysmal, twice, I don't know. While I agree that sacking people without a replacement lined up is not going to do us any ...

Re: Tigers fans walk away

From today’s Guardian “The Tigers flirted with the drop last season, saving themselves by doubling Newcastle, who ended up at the bottom. They remain the Premiership’s best-supported club in terms of numbers, but the 92% capacity they enjoyed at Welford Road in 2008-09 dropped to 81% last season an...

Re: New Saracens salary cap investigation

A spot check usually implies that no notice is given. One typical reason no notice is given is to prevent any doctoring of evidence. Why has this been leaked in advance of the request being made to Saracens? From the article, I think that the request has been made, but PRL aren't sure if they have ...

Re: Borthwick

The Beeb is reporting that Scott Wisemantel, England attack coach since mid 2018, is moving on despite being offered a new contract, his last contract having expired with the World Cup. The article says Steve Borthwick is expected to join us after the Six Nations. The article doesn’t say there is a...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

The Times is saying that PRL are looking at doing a mid-season audit of Sarries, now-ish. If Sarries agree, then fine, if not, then not sure if PRL can force it. Also, from an interview with Nigel Wray a few years ago, he said that he felt that the salary cap was a bad law and should be got rid of. ...

Re: European Challenge Cup - Cardiff vs Tigers

Blimey, Happy Clappers, have a bit of common sense !!!!!! We have a squad, that if it was coached by virtually any of the other Premiership DOR's, would certainly not be bottom, for two years now. A ''win'' against Cardiff does not constitute a season saving probability, just a mere two wins togeth...

Re: European Challenge Cup - Cardiff vs Tigers

Good win but the quality was poor. Two bottom feeders in their respective divisions, luckily one can't go down though! What a lovely expression to label your club and team. To be utterly pedantic we don’t appear to be bottom of either of our leagues. One more due to another team cheating but calling...

Re: Borthwick

.. Still extolling the virtues of Cockers then!! Obviously your not convinced this debacle started under him!!! I wasn’t suggesting bringing him back, my point was merely a hypothetical opinion, exemplifying how under resourced Cockers was. Stunning to see the win ratios of Cockers and Deano on a h...
