Re: Bath (AWAY) - Saturday 19th February 2022 - KO 15:00

One of the tactical issues in the 2nd quarter is how we lost control of the game. The Bath kicking caught Hegerty too far back and the rest of the team not getting back far enough to pick up what actually ended up as being a shortish kick. Bath recovered possession and territory a few times and it g...

The Radwan rumours appear to have gone quiet
Radwan hasn’t made the starting 15 for Newcastle today, although he is on the bench. Mind you, looking at the weather there right now, it is not really the sort of game in which a fleet-of-foot winger thrives!

Re: Bath (AWAY) - Saturday 19th February 2022 - KO 15:00

A few good performances, Heyes MoM in my opinion. Pleased we adapted tactically in 2nd half and shut them out.

Dickson performed poorly as expected.

Re: Bath (AWAY) - Saturday 19th February 2022 - KO 15:00

Feel like we are losing tactical battle - like Bath have thought things out much better. Time for SB and other coaches to make a difference at half time.

Re: Bath (AWAY) - Saturday 19th February 2022 - KO 15:00

It may be the day after the Lord Mayors show feeling the weekend after beating the nearest neighbours. This is better Bath side than they have been able to muster form most of the season so past form and this team do not equate. Our team is not a strongest but rotation and a team of this qualify ha...

Re: GP / SIX NATIONS PLUS OTHERS - W/E 11-13TH FEBRUARY 2022

Is it really that easy to say to an 8 (or in Barbearys case 2/8) and say right - play international rugby at centre even though you’ve not played there before? Surely it’s not that simple or every back rower of that style would switch positions to suit? Yes but not many back row players have Simmon...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

Some other clubs in the Prem do give more detail about player availability and injury status. Obviously you don’t want to give any tactical info to other clubs, but if for example Taute is out for the season or Cole has a bruised ankle then I don’t see the harm in that. I think the lack of info on K...

Re: Tigers vs Saints - Fri 11th Feb 22 at 1945

In the vast majority of the games I watch, supporters go on to bemoan the decisions made by the officials. I’m not saying it doesn’t need improving, I certainly disagreed with several decisions last night: - one of their tries came from a knock on, most of us on here saw it on the reply not sure why...

Looked like Cole hurt his ankle. Hopefully a few days rest and he’ll be fine.

We need to slow the game down, especially until Wells gets back on. Although our last scrum was going backwards at a rate of knots.

Re: Tigers vs Saints - Fri 11th Feb 22 at 1945

Just over 10 minutes to go before the game and I’ve decided to do an experiment on myself. I’ve just measured my blood pressure and will do so again in the next couple of hours. See what effect tonight’s game has on me!

Re: Tigers vs Saints - Fri 11th Feb 22 at 1945

Looks to me Kini and Moroni are both not fit. Saumaki isn’t really a great bench option due to not playing outside of 15. Was a big problem v Sale so Ashton look like he might be covering 15 just as much as he is wing, especially with Steward out and Hegarty our 2nd 10 atm Kini pictured training ea...

Re: Tigers vs Saints - Fri 11th Feb 22 at 1945

Referee: Matthew Carley (116th Premiership game). Assistant Referees: Jack Makepeace & Jamie Leahy. TMO: Tom Foley. Citing Officer: Grant Seely. No complaints with the officials. Could be much worse and while I’m not Mr Foley’s biggest fan he’s a step up from some of the other TMO’s imho Grant ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

I do prefer that we announce our re-signings all on the same day instead of dragging it out 1 a day for a week. No doubt intended to produce excitement, but frustration is more usual I feel this too, especially when strong rumours are leaked well in advance of the official announcements. For exampl...
