Re: Gallagher Premiership this weekend

Some unsuspected results this weekend. I know most teams affected by 6N call ups, but nevertheless still weird. Affected by Saracens situation in any way?

Re: Saracens are relegated!

Hopefully Myners will think about the future implications and appropriateness of the salary cap, not just the extent to which Saracens cheated and closing loopholes. There is something not quite right about players moving (for example) to France to earn better money than on offer in England. No doub...

Re: What Now For Our Season?

I guess the danger is the Saracens debacle diverts attention away from the more important job of rebuilding our club. Just because we may not get relegated doesn't mean that the recent green shoots of recovery are good enough or acceptable over the longer term. We must surely aspire to greater heigh...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation / Grounds for Appeal

Here's a question - if this was Tigers instead of Saracens, how many regular fans would be lost for good to the club? Given the justifiable strength of feeling against Wray et al, I'm guessing many on here would not continue to support the club on principal. This is very difficult if, like Leicester...

Re: What Now For Our Season?

If Tigers don't face relegation this season, the one thing it gives us is more time. It makes the gradual improvement process more credibility.

Re: Tigers v Cardiff's Drummer

I had my bag searched on Sunday and was just asked if I had any cans or bottles. Not sure if they were more worried about throwing dangerous items or losing income from less wet sales.

Re: Tigers vs Cardiff - 12th January 2020

White is only 21 and has time to improve and learn. One way to do that is to play in an environment that challenges him and supports him. I saw OTY having a 'chat' with him under the posts after Cardiff's first try. I'm sure that if he doesn't show the development and improvement we undoubtedly all ...

Re: Tigers vs Cardiff - 12th January 2020

Watching the game from the stands didn't offer me the best view of certain incidents and situations which resulted me in being confused about what was going on in the scrum today. I had expected the scrum to be more dominant with their injuries and the quality and bulk of our replacements, but that ...

Re: Borthwick

Sounds hopeful doesn't it? Also the same article claims there are 2 interested parties in buying the club. I wonder where/how this 'information' is obtained?

I just hope that if and when Borthwick does arrive it isn't too late to avoid relegation!

Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020

Just got back home from the match and breathing a huge sigh of relief. So pleased with 5 points and at last some positive signs. I found JP Doyle hugely frustrating, no idea why May didn't get a yellow right at the end, lots of inconsistencies with his decision making. I know it is his first game ba...

Re: Shazzam

Playing off the bench isn't sentimental, sentimentality was when some posters on here said that he should start and be captain. The bloke is a modest guy so will accept it even if he gets just 5 minutes on the field. Even if he doesn't play at all (should that be the right call to get the result) I...

Worth also :smt023 Worth is quoted as saying 'A lot has gone on at the club over the past few years and now, with the stability that has taken place in coaches and the playing group, it seems to me that with that stability, I have a responsibility to be a part of trying to put things right.' Stabil...
