I have a feeling when Scott & Moroni click they could be a great centre partnership. Both lead in defence too so confident with them against LI.
Agree with this, but not quite as impressive (yet) in attack.

Let’s give the fella a chance, shall we? He is obviously rated by those who have signed him up, so I have to assume (until proven otherwise) that he will do a decent job.

Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

The 'season so far' head to head stats on the premiership website make interesting reading for this match. https://www.premiershiprugby.com/overview/?FixGuid=20LL0947#overview Pretty even in terms of points, tries & penalties but the big differences for me are the metres made, carries and passing s...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back

No point keeping Bonilla just for the sake of numbers though. If it isn’t for him then we are best to part ASAP - it can’t be doing him any good and his performances on match day haven’t been great for Tigers. With G Ford (when he is here), Henry and McPhillips there is some cover albeit still quest...

Re: Has Rugby Got a Fan Problem?

To answer the question - no. There is a problem however with certain sections of society where there is an obvious problem. What I don’t understand is how these people manage to get away with it so often. I’m sure it isn’t beyond the wit of man to track these people down and punish them accordingly....

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

Sonja is a brilliant journo and an excellent presenter, however she got the line of questioning totally wrong IMO. Baiting Faz rather than breaking down the tactical/discipline/selection reasons why England lost. Not the high standards Sonja normal broadcasts. As for Gengey in the players tunnel af...

Re: Has Rugby Got a Refereeing Problem?

As with most high profile professional sports, there is such a lot of analysis - cameras everywhere and every decision dissected. I don’t think I’d want to be a referee. Having said that, both of the refs you mentioned this weekend made significant contribution to spoiling the flow of the game. It s...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back

I'm pleased with our outside back choices 11. Van Wyk, Potter, Simmons 12. Scott, Taute, Kelly 13. Moroni, Porter, Aspland-Robinson 14. Nadolo, 15. Steward, Murimurivalu Not sure SAR would be an option I’d choose at 13. Would keep him on the wing. I’d probably say: 11. Van Wyk, Potter, SAR 12. Port...

Sorry, but in spite of everything else I’m not sure England deserve anything out of this game. Very much self inflicted this last 10 minutes,

So Wales have had an extra man in every game then!
That isn’t Wales’s fault! Ref has been incompetent, unfortunately for England some key decisions have gone to Wales.

Referee is just a joke, not international standard by a mile. If Jones persists with Daly, he is an imbecile.
