Re: Times article - Lewis Moody
If this is true then we could be in trouble! I wouldn't blame Moody as he ain't gonna play forever but would love him to be a 1 club man. Woods was a good buy but he is never going to reach the very top of the game. 7 and 12 are two of the most important positions on the field and we would then need...

Re: Brett Deacon
Now we really need a number 8 in the summer. Jordan is our only specialist and Brett is the usual cover. I read we are after some New Zealander known as the Tank but he would be pricey!!! Who is coming through the academy at 8. Any stellar prospects? Personally I think we need to spend our cash else...

Re: Not Good Enough
I was there yesterday and have watched the game again on sky when I got home (I have an understanding wife!). The 16 man incident made little difference as all Byrne did was shepard Youngs towards a tackle. Ospreys were the better side but should get an admin punishment for the 4th official error an...

Re: Leicester Playing in Away Shirts?
This really won't make any difference but it does show that Tigers were a little silly when they launched this kit. At the time there were comments that the kit was too white and was released at a time when the RFU were requesting a mainly white away kit for each side. I'm surprised this hasn't happ...

Re: Quinlan's Lions place in doubt?
Did anyone else spot the blood on Leo's eye-lid when he was being interviewed after the game.
That offence was as obvious as it gets and Quinlan should see a lengthy ban. I don't care who does it, gouging is disgusting and should be stamped out!!!

Re: Shirts for next Season?
I caught something further up this thread about deadline dates for new kits. I am responsible for a brand which has sponsorship of several Magners League and GP sides and can confirm that if the design for next season is not confirmed yet, it will be done in the next week or so! The reason for this ...

Big final quarter required. 2 tries a conversion and no more penalties would do me!

Re: Caterpillar Stand
I used to sit in that stand with my Dad but we switched to the Crumbie after our season tickets got moved directly behind a pillar one year. The most memorable occasion for me in that stand was a 9-6 victory against Bath when John Liley kicked the goals in constant driving rain. The match was under ...

Re: Filling the ground next season.
You know what, if they do fill the ground at full price next season then the re-development is a failure as it should have been bigger. Hopefully Tigers will do some keen prices to get bums on seats and then remove the offers later to make more cash but we need to be aiming to grow into the new grou...

Re: Tigers v Bristol LIVE discussion HERE :)
Sounds like we are forcing things. We need to calm down and play our game. Also sounds like Dupuy might be going off. Hope it is nothing serious. I really hope Tom can show what he is made of. I want to believe, but all his chat about leaving and noises from the coaches make it sound like he doesn't...

Re: The new pitch
I really think we are making something out of nothing here. If they are going to widen and move the pitch surely the distance it will move is only about a metre or maybe 2 (taking account of the current gap). Its not like they are putting a running track in or anything!

Re: Geometry
I think it is fair to say that Flood has been operating under instructions from Meyer but Hougaard was brought in by Meyer to play his way so his natural style is more likely towards kicks (aimless or otherwise!) :smt009 That certainly fits with the way the Bulls played with him in the side. I have ...

Re: Geoff Parling and Billy Twelvetrees have signed
Parling sounds like a pretty direct replacement for how we have used Corry over the past few seasons. Both sound like good business. There is a very definite trend of getting rid of expensive 'fringe' players in favour of low wage young talent. Having said that, I very much doubt that we won't be pl...

Re: Are We Seeing Repercussions of Ground Development?
Ok, without wanting to repeat stuff already posted: - The reason the ground development is going to take 3-4 (or more seasons) is because it is being funded through capital raised, not 1 big loan to be paid from existing budget therefore effecting all other areas. No effect on playing staff there! -...
