Re: Championship Clubs Promotion
Sums up rugby for me, we'd rather argue about what we don't have than bring in what we do have. Two clubs with say 5k stadiums is an extra 10k bums on seats every weekend and an additional game every week for TV/Marketing/ Sponsors. If the existing 10 clubs where selling out 15k-25k stadiums every w...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2022/23 Squad and transfers thread part 2: The Lion, the Wig and the Wardrobe
The Watson situation is a real shame, I'm sure we want to keep him but obviously he wants to move closer to family. With the World Cup which club would want to shell out for him when he will be missing until November and then away again in the six nations. He fully deserves a big contract and he's u...

Re: Ealing Ospreys
All the above is far too forward thinking to ever be considered by the RFU

Ealing Ospreys
Lots of noise that this may actually become a reality but I still cant see how or why? How could you have a Welsh 'region' playing out of London? Also Ealing are affiliated to the RFU, surely they cant affiliate to WRU? Imagine the fall out of that and the preseciodent it sets especially to club on ...

Re: Samurai
Good quality to be fair, Canterbury dropped off a cliff aft 2015 due to change of ownership.
Rather have Samurai, wish they'd be a bit more adventurous with kit designs though. Loved the away kit last season and the training shirt the first year, this years efforts were very very bland.

Re: Coventry Rugby
We are lucky to have a number of great clubs within Leicestershire with good quality rugby on show down to around Counties 1. Get down your local club for a watch and pint on Saturday afternoons, you'll be very welcome and appreciated. If you need to see who's playing where head to https://www.engla...

Re: Wasps in the mire - now in administration
If we're honest a move back to London would make sense as the Coventry experiment never worked and as we now find was being ran at a huge financial cost.
Maybe the legends group plan to take them back to QPR who are also looking to move to a new purpose built stadium in the near future.

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
It does make me wonder if someone like, for example, Willis is forced to move to France as no teams in England have any cap space left - would England relax their overseas player selection criteria? Whilst I sympathise with a rugby player wishing to continue to earn a living, there are thousands of...

Wouldn’t be the first time the clubs had vertical stripes, wouldn’t be against it. Unique but also a nod back to our past.
