Re: Leicester City Council

Slightly off topic I would love to see the club buy the victory pub across the road which happens to be the clubs first offices/ clubhouse and turn it into a bar / restaurant themed around the clubs time there. Open all week generating income and would give fans the options post a pre match to go an...

Re: Lichfield Ladies game

Stayed for a half and enjoyed a committed attacking display from both sides. What really impressed me was Lichfield Ladies handling, support and continuity - they should give offloading lessons to Tigers! :smt023 Never going to happen as they would not want any disruption pre match due to lack of c...

Re: It's here!

Rubbish?! Your definition of rubbish must be a lot different to mine!! England have come joint first in the last two 6 Nations losing out narrowly on points difference each time (big deal). In the process they have played some outstanding rugby, scoring lots of trys. They have had limited success v ...

Re: Heineken - stopping other beers refreshing you

500m exclusion zone, in that case you could probably make it out of the ground and to the nearest pub (probably get served quicker as well) neck your pint do your business and be back in your seat by the start of the second half. Hardly global domination is it or life changing for fans. Good bit of ...

Re: Heineken - stopping other beers refreshing you

So no different to the European Cup final at Edinburgh a couple of years ago when you had to go out of the stadium to get a beer because the bars were McCewans.

It is hardly shock of the century, major tournament works with key supplier!

Still if theres a problem to be found and all....

Re: Is Lancaster implying Manu is a liar?

Oh dear! Manu should have kept his mouth shut. But so should Lancaster! :smt010 :smt010 :smt010 Having read the article I don't see anything he's said that he shouldn't. The press would have made more out of it if he didn't reply. Manu has done himself no favours here so lets try not to flip this b...

Re: Still stuck in the mud! - Development updates

Crane needs a bit of down time or we risk a burn out. He's got some heavy lifting to do along with some very precise passing so we need him at his very best :smt023 Sadly I think he's had his day now, two much better 8s in the side and his lack of ability to carry over the gain line last season is ...

Re: Mulipola out of World Cup

He had a knee op over the summer which is taking a few weeks longer than hoped to settle. Should be good for the start of the season (Samoa will most likely be out by then anyway), he hasn't had any game time which also a concern for the Samoan management since the operation.

Re: Time to get real, RWC

The day we start looking forward to club rugby over internationals or world cups is the day our game dies and we become football. The English football team qualified in the fastest time ever for a major tournament last week and Wayne Rooney became the all time leading goal scorer but no one seemed t...

Re: Manu in the Guardian on injury and arrest

It is good to hear his side, which I would imagine is the truth. Yes because everything a Tigers player says is the gospel. I should imagine the truth lays somewhere between the two stories. There is no way he would have been arrested for pulling his arms away, he's a big lad and also drunk at the ...

Re: Manu in the Guardian on injury and arrest

I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw this. The matter was forgotten about pretty much and now he goes on record at a time when rugby is in the spot light. He could have quite happily chalked it up to experience moved on and kept his head down to focus on getting back in a Tigers shirt. Now he's blow...

Re: Actual England World Cup 31

Pretty decent squad given the circumstances and what he has to play with. I believe Joseph and Watson will become superstars at this world cup and Slade will be a great asset off the bench. The question no one is asking is who has a better squad from 1-31? The French have an unpredictable side and a...
