Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

CrumblingTerrace wrote: Wed Nov 06, 2019 7:52 am There's one point I'm not clear about in all of this...

What about this season? Are Saracens still spending above the cap?
Since the cap includes win bonuses etc they cannot know that until the end of the season, unless it is obscenely obvious...

Daly off to pastures new...

Hi all, not posted in a while as have been working abroad, but the advantage of being in the Middle East is I have seen an article that doesn’t look like it has been commented on in the forum yet: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/47122811 Daly would be on £££ as he is on top of his game right...

Excrement throwing article in DM & The Times

According to The Daily Mail, recently declassified papers implicate Toby Flood's German grandfather as a Communist spy, or at least married to one! https://tinyurl.com/lao7t9b I'm posting this because I found it interesting due to Toby's connection to Tigers, but of course it has absolutely no beari...

Re: Tigers v Wasps

We must put out our best team against Wasps and get the flankers to take care of Cypriani and Gopperth who have two of the smartest brains in British Rugby. We must also tackle properly and compete well at the breakdown, otherwise this could be a whopping defeat. Gopperth may have a rugby brain, bu...

Re: Will the new Rugby Championship points change come here

To clarify (I checked the link posted, but it didn't say), when they say the try bonus point is for being "3 or more tries ahead", what would that be in points? You could argue for 15 or 21... Or what about something like how the England tour of Australia is going at the moment? Not to be ...

Re: Quins game - Teams Up!!

With Glaws beating SAracens last night, a bonus point win would put Tigers 3rd in the table!

Re: Sale v Tigers

Going to go out on a limb and say that JP Doyle managed to ref that game quite well - I was particularly impressed with the bout of handbags late in the second half that he virtually ignored - telling other players not to join because nothing was going on anyway. Commentators said as much - don't le...

Not at all impressed with Ryan Lamb today. One decent penalty in the first half.
