Re: Wasps v Saints

The Not Nots managed to get a TBP at home to the Chiefs - something Tigers couldn't. Pests have three tries and within six points of Stains with 20 mins to go so could get at least two points from the game.

Re: Mark Bakewell - gone? (Rumour)

I mean it depends on what happens. If Borthwick is coming in then this could well have been planned for a while as opposed to the knee jerk. On no announcements could be for multiple reasons. That's true. But on the basis of the last couple of years what evidence is there to suggest that something ...

I guess Wra...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

Nigel William Wray must be a very busy person being a director of all these companies: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/dYxs7TQbc4T4OZ461BRxjFMiEQE/appointments Despite a quick browse through them I couldn’t see any that matched the names of the companies set up for the Vunipolas, Faz, Su...

It was Ricky Pellow - who is far from a water boy. He's their skills coach and tends to coach the 7s and also ran the side in the cup last season
Wasn’t he in Wet Wet Wet? If so, how appropriate that he’s now a water boy.

Re: Leicester Tigers up for sale for £60 Million

trouble is there are a lot of Bath residents who want it to remain a lovely City and do not want an unattractive large Rugby stadium built on their recreation ground. Twenty plus years since the game went professional and Bat still have a stadium not fit for purpose! All other Premiership have prog...

A pity Ben Elton didn’t create this thread then it could have been a series “Blackadder goes forth/northwest/east again.”

What went wrong at Debenhams and what it might mean for the Premiership

The English Premiership sold a stake to CVC recently. Seems they were involved in the deal to take Dibdibs private in 2003, extract short term profit, sell it on and leaving it a potential wreck (as if there isn’t a big enough challenge competing with online vendors). Here’s a link to an old article...

Re: Tigers v Saints

No leadership, no inspiration, repeating tired old mantras, no Plan B - but that's enough about the other T May. Seconds thoughts, perhaps that sums up Tigers too?

I can't make up my mind - are they good ideas or have they ignored an embargo and published them 11 days' too early?

They trialed stopping the clock almost every time the ref intervened in America and created gridiron. Even slower with many even bigger anaerobic "athletes".

Re: ARE THERE ANY LAWS IN THE GAME THAT YOU WOULD CHANGE?

Once the ref blows for a try, penalty, line-out or whatever, the team given the ball has 45 seconds to kick or whatever, then open play starts again. I get really annoyed when a penalty is given then the team/fly-half takes a swig from the water bottle, discusses diner arrangements with his captain ...
