Threfall the fly half from Nottingham High School, Bronson Mellowes from South Leicester a prop & I didn't catch the third one.

Re: Is Tigers emblem unique?

Came across a Facebook post today about a school in the US and something familiar stood out. https://dchs.dawsoncountyschools.org/ I thought Tiger's brand was unique? US schools and high schools do this all the time with brands from all over, I think there is generally weak protection for copy righ...

I don't have any stats to back this up, but it feels like being tall and a prop is much more common than it once was. There was a time when the Darren Garforth's of this world dominated. I'm not a front rower so I can comment on why... has scrummaging changed technically? The other thing to remembe...

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

So MM where are you going to find all those referrees who were forwards, props, hookers etc etc who know whats going on and how are they going to keep up with the wingers tearing down the field? ,At the moment refs cant keep up anyway and cant see the forward passes. Im pretty sure that Dickson, ha...

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

The referee and touch judge were shocking Exeter were constantly offside and interfering in the break down .. Jaspers loss of control was a direst response to Dickson refusal to referee correctly and penalise them. Also right from the beginning he refereed the scrum badly … their loosehead constant...

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

Don’t get this initial comment. Wasn’t thuggery he picks him up and drops him and lands on his head amongst other parts of his body. Yellow card at worst and as others have said was due to the breakdown not being reffed properly It may come under the category of "seen them not given" but ...

Re: Please get behind your team v Exeter

Considering that some had Exeter had warm favourites before the game, that was a very good result. With a productive and focussed pre-season, fewer handling errors and a couple of positions bolstered, I think we can be optimistic that next season will be better than this one. TBF it would be a disa...

I heard no further ‘significant’ incomings, that’s why I think it’s possible we could move some on to bring in the likes of Moroni. Also heard from a Pal at Bristol, something I’d not considered, in that contracts need not be linear, he said some of their players had agreed deals over 2/3 years wit...

Sara Cox gets the battle of the basement...have Gloucester put a proper team out this week? Only 7th premiership game...rather under used.

Carley resting, did I see he has got the Euro Final?
He did.

Just poorly done
Yeah, I saw the reaction and was curious so just watched it now. He is signing a contract throughout the video, really surprised anyone thinks that is ambiguous at all.

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022

Rory Jennings on Newcastle's leavers list. Not one for us with our squad as it stands but a good player who will be picked up somewhere. Wonder if he's already lined up a move to France where he played before?

Re: Not a new kit Launch.... Tigers Together membership

Having had a brief look it’s not something that appeals to me but I think it’s a good initiative as I am assuming Tigers have done their research before launching. Does it mean that previous benefits such as 10% off in the shop and a free ticket to a selected game are no longer benefits for STH’s? ...

How do you know that? Olly Richardson with his ties to Tigers previously was likely a recommendation to McKellar from the club if not an appointment by the club. Dickens could have been either, hard to tell as it's possible McKellar became aware of him or met him at a Junior World Cup or similar. I...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)

Are we sure Richardson was sacked and there wasn't just honest conversations that led to him seeking employment elsewhere? It's not unusual for people to take on jobs, find they aren't a good fit and then move on again. I'm not sure why you think everyone gets a massive payoff either. Normally it's...
