Re: Now I've caught my breath........

RE Ayerza. An ESPN commentator (Kay, I think it was) highlighted that Quins' prop James Johnston had given the most penalties away throughout the season for illegal binding at scrum-time. He cited this as a critical area when coming face to face with Ayerza, in terms of how the game would be referee...

Re: Agulla - is anyone at WR listening?

I'll be absolutely gutted to see him leave at the end of this season. Agulla is such a classy winger and certainly seems to have that bit of magic about him that only special players have.

According to RFU twitter update, Waldrom is on his way out to cover Nick Easter who is suffering from a 'sore back'... God help us!

Re: New Euro Kit

It looked basically all white, with think red and green stripes at the bottom. Like I said, I just saw a quick flash but those who were expecting something a bit different may be disappointed. Was it anything along the lines of this design by Cotton Traders (see photo)...? http://www.planetrugby.co...

Re: Are Tigers due a new home kit??

I agree. If it turns out to be just as he said then it'll have been another shameful performance on supplying kit to the fans. Lets hope this new agreement with Kitbag sorts things out once and for all.

Re: Are Tigers due a new home kit??

Passing by the Tigers/Cotton Traders outlet in the city centre this morning, I dropped in and asked the man at the counter when the new shirt would be released. He said its not likely to be on stock until the end of September or early October. He said that the playing quality ones are made in the UK...

Re: The Third Kind

I completely disagree with not using cotton. It should be in the laws of the game that playing shirts are 100% cotton, long sleeve and have proper collars that are a different colour to the main body of the shirt. Would you like a tartan rug with that? :smt005 I think it's great that the club are o...

Myburgh heads back to SA

I was expecting to see this guy challenging for a place on the back row next season but it seems that he was, as he puts it, 'just another bloke from South Africa' - whatever you wish to read into that...

Re: Half-time music yesterday

I have always noticed that the music in general (not just at half-time) at WR is shameful. It certainly does nothing for the atmosphere or entertainment value of the place. Dr. Soul, whoever he or she is, needs to have a little look at their playlist... Its embarrassingly awful. :smt028

I'd love to see an alternate shirt in the mould of Perpignan's HEC shirt in green, white and red. :smt023
