Re: Kicker For Next Season

There have been rumours doing the rounds on here and other forums, suggesting that Tigers are in the run in to land the signature of Ryan Lamb for next season. I'm not sure about his kicking percentages, but I'd imagine Cockers and Co would be looking at the options available if Dupuy does head back...

Deano backs Tigers for Premiership glory

He makes some interesting points about the possession and the strength of the front row ahead of the clash at Twickers, good to see him backing Tigers :smt023 To be honest, I expected Quins to do the Irish yesterday. Despite that, Deano seems to be moving them in the right direction. http://www.plan...

Geordie heading to Brive?

... apparently not, according to Rugby365's 'The Loop'. :smt025 He shall not move! Leicester Tigers have slapped a hands-off warning on Ireland and British Lions fullback Geordan Murphy after Brive reportedly made an approach for him. The French side, current home of former Leicester star Andy Goode...

Re: Marcos Ayerza

He's certainly one of the in-form props currently in the GP and is putting in high class performances week-after-week; its good to see him bagging a few tries along the way. :smt023

Davies frustrated at Tigers

From the Mercury: http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/leicestertigers/Tigers-news-Davies-desperate-stay-hunt/article-750548-detail/article.html I remember reading a very similar article in the Mercury last season when he wasn't getting a look-in for a place on the teamsheet. He had a decent game l...

Kidney urges ELV rethink

http://www.planetrugby.com/sixnations/Story/0,19022,3820_4992855,00.html Yet another coach speaks out against this - will we see any action? - I hope so. The Ireland v England match at the weekend was hardly one to remember, but the point where each side were happy to sit back and exchange a seeming...

Varndell free to leave Tigers

If he's no longer happy at Tigers then theres no point in keeping him in the ranks.

Re: Sarries sell-out

If this goes ahead it would be a total disgrace to the game in England - it should not be allowed to happen. I think that if they want a club in the Premiership to use as a breeding ground for the development of SA players then they should start from the bottom leagues and develop from there - not b...
