I thought the same, had a wry smile when I heard the TMO chip in on the ref link. Missed, indeed.

Re: Dan Mckellar
No offence but there is a reason why Strength and conditioning coaches are massive in every single physical sport in the world. It's massively oversimplifying it to say well the players should know duh. You also got to factor that every season is different, every player is different and every playe...

Re: Dan Mckellar
I’ve always thought it odd, and this is coming from someone that’s never played competitive team sport, do elite players just forgot what was working before? A massive focus when Aled and Steve can’t in was turning around our habit of going away in the final 20, they put it right but now we’re back...

IMO Moroni form has dipped since moving to Falcons, understandably, but as they say class is permanent and that ability to cover centre and wing is invaluable Thing is we don't need a starting centre which is what he was here before and what Falcons required. Do the stats back that? a question, not...

Seems to be some whispers that Jasper will be playing for the Bulls next season, has anyone else heard this? I heard Japan. Can’t remember which podcast it was but it was discussed that it was possible to do both. It was suggested the times made it possible to go to Japan as a stopgap/earner then b...

I think many people underestimate how difficult it is to keep the ball for 3 minutes in those circumstances without infringing or making an error. I'm curious, how early would people advocate "sticking it up the jumper" for when defending a slim lead? 5 minutes? 10 minutes? How early do y...

In terms of opportunity, what’s the difference between the A league and Prem Cup?

I’d be sad to see Dolly go. Obviously, his most recent injury has been a massive blow but don’t remember him being particularly fragile prior. He’s also excellent around the park.

We should have beaten Glos last week no question about it.. and what is crazy is had we done that we would be second now! But we didn’t, because we’re trash and should be looking for a(nother) new head coach. It’s a tough ask trying to rebuild after losing Borthwick, Sinfield and Walters.. massive ...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45
Saints are going to marmalise us I am so frustrated over how poor we play. Newcastle like Gloucester are in a different attacking stratosphere and Smith great servant that he is clearly is not an attack coach. We were badly struggling at scrum time against nobody's and that is a massive concern. Wh...

I thought I’d read that he’d already played a bit at lock but could easily be wrong and in any case not at Prem level obviously.

Much talk about 4th placed lock, perhaps Beets has been allocated some time there.
Regarding L. Chessum, he’s clearly the class clown type which I’ve seen in person but also on club social media etc. it’s for the coaches to work out if he’s an energy giver or energy taker.
