Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45

I’m also worried a bout the future of the club as how many fans will renew season tickets( we have renewed) and others turn up to see Tigers when in a must game win we again have been hit by injuries to our internationals! Reffel, Cole, Martin, Chessum, Heyes! Maybe we are just unlucky or are we doi...

Seriously worried. How on earth do we manage to have half the pack out injured!
Could be a long night and will Kata and Pollard play??

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Agree with what you say and having watched the other games this weekend it’s galling that Pollard didn’t play: we don’t have a back up Fly Half and with Freddie Burns or Ford playing yesterday we would have won as those two would have changed tactics when needed. Ford kicked well for Sale today but ...

This Bath v Sale game is superb. Both teams attacking very well and some great defence!

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45

Diamond has toughened up Newcastle as Exeter found out yesterday. I just hope our heads are in the right place for the whole game. If Pollard, Chessum, Martin aren’t playing I really do fear it could be a repeat of last season. I’ve been to Newcastle many times on a Friday night and I’m sure others ...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Agreed: Gloucester knew we were weak in the middle and just kept running good lines in the middle of the pitch! Odd as down at Quins watching behind the posts we made them have to go wide and yes, Quins got that unconverted try at the end but they had to get the ball wide. I also think we missed a t...

Re: Saracens - Harlequins TMO

Well in the Bath game today they took no notice of Oz when he rightly commented on the forward pass for their first try. Bit like on Friday night with the knock by Gloucester in the build up to their first half try! Mind you I don’t know if it was commented on on TV as I was at the game! Still no ex...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Hi Scuttle. Might see you at Newcastle. I’ve got a ticket to stand in the South Stand where the fans are usually great and I stood there in that nail biting game when Thomson and Ford were superb. Last season wasn’t so goo though! Safe trip up and enjoy your stay. Im driving up and back on Good Frid...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19:45

Chessum will want to play as sadly his indiscipline last night probably cost us a try then gave the momentum back to Gloucester! I’d like to have Martin and Chessum playing if fit as we’ve not seen much of them due to injury and England call ups. I’m always worried when Scott isn’t playing as our de...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Didn’t post last night as I was still seething at that performance. Gloucester deserved their win and for me there are no excuses for Tigers playing like they did. Like Scuttle, will be making the 6-7 hour round trip next Friday but dreading it could be another repeat of last year if we play like la...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Hi Shedhead, I hope you and your wife have a good time at Welford Road. Love the Gloucester fans as they/ you always seem fair minded and respectful of us Tiger fans. Tigers are so inconsistent I’m expecting a close game even though you have a few injury problems. I think what Tigers do depends on w...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Go full bore for Gloucester and Newcastle: no point not giving ourselves the best chance of top 4: win these next two games then a “free shot” v Leinster before Saints!!! If we put a decent run together who knows, maybe we can rest some players v Sale though apart from the Premiership Cup I’m fed up...

Re: Sam Carter

Carter was a reasonable signing: a good squad member but not a player that would get into many of the Premiership teams. Sadly I’m not expecting young Chessum to get into the first team squad as, having watched him last season and a couple of times this season he hasn’t progressed and for me he real...
