Re: Players Awards
Isn’t great to really believe all the players who have played this season deserve the awards. I really struggled such has been the outstanding performances. Montoya, Weise, Hanro in the forwards really stand out and mainly because I was at Saints which I still see as our best performance of the seas...

Re: Premiership Semi Final Play Off - Kick Off times confirmed
Got our Semi final tickets as soon as they were available. I’ve just looked on the website and cannot believe how many tickets are left. I expect Saints fans to take most of the 4,000- 4,500 left! Should be a great game especially as Saints have now beaten Quins and pushed Sarries hard. No way will ...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 04th June 2022 KO 15:00
Agreed about Montoya: he is crucial to our chances of winning the semi and, if we get there, the final. But Weise, Hanro, Genge, Cole, Reffell, Wells all need to stay fit too! With what happened to poor Dolly I’ve changed my thinking on Wasps! Aim to win but have to avoid injuries. I’ve remarked abo...

Re: Other Weekend Games - 20th to 22nd May 2022
I have faith Tigers can win but also know, as last season and other seasons have shown, any team in the semi final can win. League form means nothing in ko rugby. What Sarries did well yesterday was take 3 points when offered almost as if they were getting ready for the semi finals. It’s still one g...

Re: Other Weekend Games - 20th to 22nd May 2022
Wasps are a far better side than the one that beat us up at The Ricoh! Saints will need no motivation in the Semi as they will see a chance of putting right the two defeats we have inflicted upon them. My worry all season, and what a great season it’s been, is our game plan and back play won’t quite...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
Thanks. I think you are right as Montoya did seem to limp off v Leinster though I wasn’t sure as I was watching from high up in the Mattioli Woods Stand. If we are to win the semi and the Final we will need him, Jasper, Reffell, Cole,Genge and Hanro to be 100% fit. First Newcastle though. Any win wi...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
This could be a close game. Nadalo on the wing on a fast track against fast wingers! Hope we are resting players and Potter, Youngs, Montoya aren’t injured. In the semis I feel any side missing 2-3 top players against any team at full strength will struggle. Mind you the Wasps game could be brutal l...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Steve Borthwick and the Chamber of Oval Park
Front of The Rugby Times has Reffell picked for the Wales Summer tour to a South Africa. Well deserved but another huge loss for us when the Autumn Internationals and 6 Nations are on. Yes, we have cover, but as yet not as exceptional as Tommy!

I cannot remember which paper I read it in but I’m sure the article stated Moroni had, along with Reffell, got another season with Tigers.
I hope so as both are crucial to Tigers being successful.

As I said I’ve seen us win there a lot but the games are never as straight forward as they should be.
Just gone on to the Newcastle website to get tickets; it’s heading for a sell out.
Hope lots of Tigers’ fans going.

Re: EPCR Semi finals
Well Leinster at least knew they were in a game last week!
Hopefully when a Tigers play in the semis of The Gallagher Premiership we will remember the Leinster game to get off to a fast start!

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
Two massive games now before the semi. Newcastle is a place we’ve always struggled at but had some narrow wins. Wasps: if, as I think they will, come with a full strength squad, will be an excellent test and whether it be Saints or Quins then Wasps will provide an excellent game to get combinations ...

Re: Premiership Semi Final Play Off
As it’s likely to be one hell of a showdown v Saints it will be a sell out.
If it is Saints their fans will turn up in their droves expecting to get revenge.
If it happens everyone will want to be there!
No disrespect Gloucester but I cannot see you beating Quins on 21 May.
