Re: Tigers v Chiefs

Give the as much of the team v Gloucester a go against Exeter. Henry to start with a similar bench to last week end.
Taufua coming off the bench with the orders to go out and enjoy himself.
This squad has the talent so just need to go out and play.

Re: London Irish Away

Well it was a “ better” performance than last season! Not playing Reffell was a strange decision. Would like to see Williams on the wing (and Simmons on the other) as I personally thought he was one of the players who looked decent when he came on loan last season! I said it before we played a Irish...

Re: Other Round 2 Fixtures

Having travelled to London Irish wherever they’ve played Tigers only ever really won easily and that was way back in a cup game: I think Clive Woodward was their coach! For some reason Irish always turn up when they play us. Can we win, yes if we don’t panic! On the other hand we only just beat them...

Re: London Irish Away

Huge game for us: no away wins in the league since the Newcastle game so somehow win and it will be a huge boost to the whole club and fans. Agree that Irish aren’t far off full strength and their front row and backs look strong. I’ve no issue with Ryan Bower as a replacement but doubt his ability a...

Melton less than 300 too along with other areas of Leicestershire: the map on the show made no sense as I’m sure we all saw!!

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester - Teams Up

Sadly I think Murphy was the problem: I just think he mishandled the younger players right from the start and moaned to the media about certain players. I am a huge fan of Geordan but believe the pressure on him to pull tigers round was too great! My first worry was after the Worcester away game the...

Re: Borthwick

Healy was an outstanding player and one who we could do with today. I watched him win many important games for us, including Stade in Paris. The time he stormed up and down the Welford Road touchline was in the later stages of Bob Dwyers’ time at Tigers when sadly Dwyer had lost the players due to s...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester

I’d be surprised if we win tomorrow but hope to see an improved performance compared to last season. Gloucester’s pack looks very decent and we know Matt Garvey always raises his game against us. Their backs know each other and Twelvetrees is another player who raises his game v us. Matt Banahan is ...

Re: Relegation 20/21

Sorry but time to give the Sarries obsession a rest!
Tigers have had great players in the squad just like Sarries but haven't, obviously been coached as well.
I couldn’t care a jot about any other team than us.
Look no further than ourselves, stop making excuses and start winning.

Re: Geordan Murphy leaves the club!

The media has never really liked Tigers: Deano and Cockerill often said, “ No one really likes us but we just get on with what we do, which mostly is win!” It wasn’t long ago that the media had frequently said how Geordan and the team were toothless. Greenwood, Healey, Goode and Kay have regularly b...

Re: Autumn Nations Cup

Best game of the weekend was England Women v France. Emily Scarratt is a terrific player with great running lines and superb kicking for goal or touch. Well done to the whole team as it was far more entertaining than the England v Georgia game but the conditions in France were a stark contrast to Tw...

Re: Tom, Pinchen and Borthwick LTTV special tonight 8:30 PM

A lot of fans have got what they wanted; a clear out with Borthwick in sole charge of the playing side. Andrea Pinchen has worked wonders and Peter Tom has probably decided enough is enough and is making sure, in these difficult times that Tigers, as a club survives. I will take a season where we av...

Re: Geordan Murphy

Sad that Geordan has gone. Loved watching him play and would have liked him to have gone out with some wins this season! All the best to his family and hopefully he will find a place that suits him in rugby. To be honest though I really do think Borthwick needs to be solely in charge. This could tho...

But, what’s happening with Tigers’ battle against the virus?
We hope those involved are recovering well.
