Re: Tigers v Castres on April 4th - 12-45pm Kick Off

Great offer by Tigers. No problem getting the tickets online but admit my wife did it as she’s far more adept at online shopping than me!
Hope fans turn up and make lots of noise.

Re: Bath vs. Tigers - Sat 25 Jan 15:00

As I earlier posted I too was livid when we kicked the ball away with a chance to win: a) it tossed away not only the chance to draw or win the game but,b) it gave Bath the chance to try to get another try to take away our bonus point. Sadly at the moment Tigers is the weakest team in the league. Te...

Re: Bath vs. Tigers - Sat 25 Jan 15:00

I don’t know about “ hairdryer treatment” as Geordan went on to hint some players were tired and needed a rest! I’d have the hookers and forwards in tomorrow to practice throwing in and lineouts! How many games have we lost due, or not won, to awful lineouts ? Like most fans I want us to finish the ...

Re: Bath vs. Tigers - Sat 25 Jan 15:00

Again we lose a game through poor basic skills: lineout and then poor kick to give the ball away with 2 minutes to go. Wasps will now be huge favourites to beat us at home. There is huge talent in the team but until this lineout is sorted we will keep losing. Well done the Academy: not afraid to pla...

Re: Saracens are relegated!

I don’t condone what Sarries hierarchy has done but whatever is said the squad is superbly well coached. You look at our backs when fully fit and they too should, even with limited ball, score tries! As for PLR saying they want a fair contest I find that totally ignores the fact that those clubs, of...

Re: Tigers vs Cardiff - 12th January 2020

Came back from the game feeling the whole team did well. Again Ford gave a master class of Fly Half play and, as we realised when he was out so much last season,Telusa is ( along with Ford) the other player who really does make things happen. Boladau again looked a more than useful number 8 and Whit...

Re: Johnny May

I’ve said it before: Johnny May is a great bloke on and off the field so hopefully Tigers can keep him on the same salary. Again, I’ve said it before, Manu( love him to bits) shouldn’t be on the amount he’s on because he rarely plays for us and rarely makes a difference in terms of wins when he does...

Re: Tigers vs Cardiff - 12th January 2020

That is a pretty strong Cardiff side and what a surprise: no Manu.
Hopefully this means he will need to play v Bath to get match fitness.
We will need another excellent performance to get a win.
I too wonder what’s going on with young Kerr!!!
Surprised Ford is playing. Is Hardwick injured??

Re: Johnny May

TV is invaluable to us: look at the improvement in our back play, defence and kick chase when he plays. I think we should do everything possible to keep Johnny May as, not only is he a great bloke but World Class finisher who will help players like Olowofela to keep on improving! As Sam Harrison has...

Re: Johnny May

Who is worth paying more, Manu or Johnny May? I’d jokingly suggest Manu do the decent thing and give up £100,000 of his salary to go towards keeping Johnny who plays regularly, scores regularly and tackles brilliantly! I remember years ago fans moaning about keeping Lewis Moody when he hardly ever p...

Re: Tigers vs Bristol - 04th January 2020

Will be there as usual tomorrow but fear Bristol’s back row will “ murder us.” Was at Twickers last week and our forwards, apart from the scrum, were way off the pace. Have to hope we can stay in it until Guy Thompson comes on to win some turnovers and Reffel to add some pace, I just see this select...

Great servant of our once great club.
Tigers’ farewell matches have rarely gone well so let’s hope Sam brings us some luck with a win.

Well done George Ford and Ellis Genge

"I believe in sticking it out through tough times and coming out at the other end," Ford, 26, said. "It's going to be small building blocks, rebuilding little and often, rather than an overnight fix." Yes, Genge and Ford have get out clauses but let’s build around these two. Ford has to be captain w...

Re: QUINS VS TIGERS 28TH DEC

Just got back from Twickers: Well done all our fans who got there( took me nearly 4 hours) Well done for the team digging in TV full of enthusiasm and thought Ben Youngs had a very good game considering the poor ball he got. Sam Lewis played well and chased back well stopping a try but then we defen...
