Re: Is Boladau worth keeping long-term?

Thought he was excellent yesterday and his attitude was fantastic. He is well worth a contract and his handling skills, ability to break tackles and pace around the pitch impressed yesterday. Kalamafoni and Veaniu had very good world cups so will come back with confidence high. Last season Kalamafon...

Re: PRC Round 4 - Tigers vs Saints

Thought the ref was very good today but the touch judges were inept as there were several high tackles missed by the officials and at a time when Tigers were leading. Holmes was excellent and the effort by the whole squad was a huge improvement on last season. Not sure we will be good enough to beat...

Re: PRC Round 4 - Tigers vs Saints

It’s Saints: that’s all the motivation that should be needed! I’d rest Thomo ( not Adam) as he’s proved his fitness and will be a major forward v Worcester. Kerr deserves his place in the squad and is usually more accurate throwing in. We all remember what happened at Worcester last season: the game...

Always great to win at The Rec. Keep up the grit, determination and winning habit. Well done to the whole squad and coaches.

Re: Borthwick

Excellent news. Borthwick will bring vast experience and is known to put in the graft to try to prepare the forwards to compete and deliver quick ball especially from line outs. Knows the Premiership and our England lads inside out. Bakewell will be able to concentrate, with Deacon, with aspects tha...

Jonah Holmes a great example

Jonah Holmes has shown the internationals who are away how to perform upon their return. He was obviously disappointed to be left out of Wales’ World Cup squad put really put that behind him to play outstandingly well last night.

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter

Very good performance by the whole team. Kyle Eastmond, Holmes, and most of the backs excellent. Scrum a bit wobbly until the second half but a good effort all round by the pack.

Re: PRC Round 2 - Tigers vs Exeter

Forsyth has returned on loan to cover centre positions. Rated home years ago and will give his all to maybe earn a contract.
Good luck Tigers.

Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

I will, as I have for over 40 years support Tigers home and away through thick and thin. Tigers do need time to rebuild but, in my opinion, putting teams out that are likely to get a drubbing does nothing at all to improve the confidence of anyone playing or coaching. One of the things admitted in t...

Re: England team v Tonga

All Tigers’ starters excellent but Genge needs Boris to continue working on his scrummaging: he brought good “go forward “ in the loose. Cole his usual, dependable self. Just hope all our players stay injury free. Thought Kalamafoni showed what an excellent 6 he is. Best moment for me, Fordy tackle ...

Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

Worcester got it right: blend experience and youth not throw an inexperienced side in to lose so heavily. Our problems last year stemmed from not getting wins in this cup; Worcester got wins and momentum to finish far stronger than we did. I feel sorry for the youngsters at our club and Murphy seems...

Re: PRC Round 1 - Warriors vs Tigers

After last season’s mess, and I also supported Tigers away from home, the last thing needed is any heavy defeats in any competition. I sincerely hope we win tomorrow. Secondly : forget having internationals absent. They need to come back and have to fight to get in the team then maybe the debacle th...

Re: Supporters Forum

For many years my wife and I met our friends a good hour before the game to drink and chat but the beer was awful last year as was the service so we decided to linger longer over our lunch in either The Rutland And Derby or The Knight And Garter: great food, superb beer and friendly service. The Kin...

Re: Dave Denton Announces Retirement

Great player and great bloke off the pitch too. Having read the article in the Times about him then he really did have no choice but to retire. We can only hope his health improves so that he can find some suitably fulfilling employment. All the best to him and his family,
