Re: European finals 2020

Steven Luatua has pulled out of selection after his wife has gone in to Labour, wish the bloke all the best. Great timing!! I wish his wife even more! Luatua has completed his work so could play and then go to hospital after the match. :smt002 Just like one of my past team mates did and his wife ne...

Re: Predictions 20-21

I live in hope but I believe that Big Dai's present bottle of Remy will still reside behind the settee and not be replaced this coming season.

Re: Bonus Points

Our problem is we lose big and win small 😂 And we do not have the rub with the Referees, the TMO's appear to use "Is there any reason I cannot award a try" and certain players are highlighted by others as penalty magnets + we kick the ball away outside the 22 and fail to defend the rebound. Re: Tigers vs Quins - 04 Oct 20 15:00

I thought Tommy Reffell had a magnificent game and really out played ex Tiger Will Evans who many on here if I recall were damming that we had lost Evans and made little attempt to retain him. These last few games have highlighted to me the players we must retain I only hope the Management agree. :s...

Re: Positives going forward

So we saying SB is telling the backs to aimlessly launch it? No Murphy has and if you want evidence, he actually said it at the last attended open supporters forum at Welford Rd. In reply to a supporters question as to why we persist with it when it does not work? He replied he would not dispense w...

Re: Fans back at a game?

Was reduced to 1000 for the game on Saturday and until further notice. Well I got the 5000 crowd figure from the LTTV Harry Potter post match chat and certainly watching it on BT there were well over the 1000 you are suggesting in their three stands. However were you there Tigerbeat? I had read in ...

Re: Fans back at a game?

Toulon apparently had 5000 in their three stands. If the pandemic eases off I feel sure we could easily get over 5000 well spaced out in our three stands, leaving the Crumbie for the red zone.. Oh keep dreaming! Was reduced to 1000 for the game on Saturday and until further notice. Well I got the 5...

Re: Fixtures for 2020/21 announced

That's very interesting. As long as Ben White doesn't get called up we'll be pretty well stocked for the international window for the first time in ages. Especially if Moroni and Montoya arrive sharpish. Montoya coming is no sure thing as he's not yet signed (originally was planned to have him 21/2...

Re: Alex Corbisiero

I do wish Alex all the best in recovery from this second "bite " I just hope that his Consultants can catch the spread soon enough as so, so many cancer treatments are being postponed or having the radio therapy reduced from eg. 20 sessions down to 5 as they try to catch the backlog caused by this t...

Re: Toulon v Tigers - Challenge Cup Semi

With COVID cases on the increase and the sight of fans not observing social distancing or wearing masks there is a risk that the game may not go ahead..........similar circumstances to the Castres game. I hope not but it is a genuine possibility. This is the fear I have with the rise in cases local...

Re: Tigers vs Castres - 20 Sep 20 at 1500

Do STs get a match pass from BT for this one? Haven’t received the usual email. No. The deal with BT only covered Premiership games. As ST holders we would still have needed to buy a ticket for this game. Now if I recall the European matches were often on Sky however as mentioned above there is no ...

Re: Team vs Saints

Hope we get the ball wide in attack, very exited to see Nadolo and Muri in some space, could cause havoc if used properly. Key is the pack. If they get some parity then Henry and Youngs could cause some damage. I hope Henry gets licence to play on instinct and we get Nadolo and Muri on his shoulder...

Re: England Players Agree to a Salary cut for 1 year

The executive management team accepted 25% pay cuts back in June. There were also a lot of redundancies in June/July. I can't confirm whether any of those affected wear blazers. I believe JP Doyle was a casualty of this redundancy but I could have suggested at least three other Referees that were w...
