Re: Tigers v Northampton Saints - today's game.
It will be hard job for the Saints at Thomond Park, but miracles sometimes happen. Tigers won there. But failing that, there is still two competitions for saints, Tigers have just one. I know which position, I'd rather be in, even with the internationals on. I don't know when else the LV Cup could b...

Re: Tigers v Northampton Saints - today's game.
I don't see Sarries losing at all with the team they have out, at least on paper. I would say saints were still very much up for three competitions at the mo, certainly a good candidate for the playoffs too. Boon, whilst you may have made a lot of changes, your team still seemed a bit stronger then ...

So you think so many on this board have got it wrong, given Cockers comments earlier in the season? Given also rumours about other certain people not supposedly standing by ML? Player dissatisfaction? Stand corrected if wrong, but I feel the majority are getting it right. I am afraid the likes of yo...

Sorry matey I think you're wrong there, and it is more likely westwinds is right. Certain members of the club, including some of the players had it in from ML from the start I feel. Sir Alec Ferguson said in so many words to Sir David Frost in an interview shown on SKY that supporters and players ca...

As I have said on other thread/s regarding Gibbo, the board if that is true are makig a big mistake. The guy has little coaching experience and they are now throwing him into the deep end at a club that is seemingly very unstable. Can't see it working. Especially if he gets little support from those...

Northants Tiger, If the Telegraph are right about Gibbo, it is only because the board cannot seemingly get anyone else more experienced to come and any top coach wouldn't touch us with a barge pole, most likely. Stand corrected some maybe, including myself, but the guy hasn't really got enough exper...

Well said Charles Stuart, never truer words spoken. You are spot on there in your arguments. Regarding the board, they are now trying to convince us that Cockers and Back had nothing to do with MLs departure,. In Dad's Army terms, Who do they think they are kidding. Do they really think we are all s...

This sounds like a stitch up to me, ie Gibson and Cockers etc because the board can't entice anyone else and arebn't likely to. To be fair to Gibbo, what experience has he got, and I stand corrected if proven otherwise, what experience has he got as a coach, let alone to be Head Coach. Talking about...

Nik, I maybe strong in my convictions, but I am not putting anyone down. What I am saying is that they are wrong IMO and saying that they are mistaken. I am entitled to do that just as much as anyone else. This is a forum. I don't think I have attacked anyone else more strongly then anyone else. The...

Kevf, totally disagree with majority of your points, ie the ones critising us on here. Yes people want success, but no majority did not want ML sacked. So football style sackings and handling of coaches in rugby is inevitable. Well then I don't think that will attract punters and I wouldn't be happy...
