Re: An article from SCW

Well said Sir Clive! I welcome new fans but I do think they need to observe the 'etiquette' of the game. We have a new season ticket holder in front of me who leaves his seat 20 minutes into each match causing discomfort to us all and blocking the view, as the lady by me put it "we're not used ...

Re: Mr Glen Warwick Jackson

He generally does a good job and in general ex first class players in most sports go on to do this well, cricket being the best example Didn't we ruin his last game as a player by beating Sarries in a Prem final ?? Yes! :smt003 2010 final, the one where Danny Hipkiss came on and scored a stunning t...

Mighty Mouse: given that both Nigel and Ben are/were Police Officers they too may take exception to Cocker's 'fruity' language! :smt003 Good to see professional referees being developed, Ben's profile suggests that he's ready to handle this level of game, let's face it the recent performances than w...

Re: M69/M1 roadworks again

Thanks Loretta, as I have a fairly lengthy journey to get to the game, I have decided to get into Leicester as early as possible on Friday afternoon. Presumably, according to your post, access via the M69/M1 route is permissible during the day. Getting out and back to the M6 after the game will be ...

Re: M69/M1 junction closed this weekend

I think th a that the roadworks will still be in place on 05th October.....will just have to wait and see if the exiting from the M69 is affected Last night the sign at the bottom of the northbound slip road at jn 21 said the works started on July 22nd for 16 weeks. This means the junction with the...

It was at Tresham College, so would that be at Kettering or Corby? I think they have astro pitches at both centres.

Re: Can you recall your 1st game at Tigers? Mine was 20 Nov 1993

My first game was Leicester Tigers vs Newcastle Falcons in 2005, Seeing us demolish the Falcons 83-10 was some introduction to the Tigers Family :smt023 This was also the game that started my regular attendance at Welford Road, had attended odd matches as a teenager but this was the first time that...

Re: Fourth and final Saturday 3pm kick off this season.

The Wasps match has moved day and the last maatch has moved time. Well spotted. I must have somehow missed the news regarding the time change for the last match of the season. This change can only be for television. I've checked the four English football divisions and Sat 04 May isn't the end date ...
