Re: Richie MacCaw - a legend and gentleman - happy retiremen

Interesting that he is going to be a pilot. I understand that you get into a helicopter from the side. :smt002

Re: Tigers Vs. Sarries

A huge embarrassment.

Sarries are very good but we were as bad as I've ever seen us play.

Re: Croft Out!!

ACL recovery is usually straightforward but lengthy. Tom's absence from the game may give his other niggling injuries (that nearly all professional rugby players carry) a chance to clear up, too. IMHO, now is probably not the time to be considering retirement - it depends how his rehabilitation goes.

Re: Farrell will bounce back - Gatland

Lord Johnny of Wilkinson may well find himself out there due to an injury in the backs. Imagine the scenario - one of the Lions centres is injured - Farrell moves to centre (even though for the dirt trackers) leaving a vacant 10 slot. Johnny is re-called and kicks the winning goal in the deciding 3r...

Re: stand up and stop other people see tries being scored

Somebody tell me what is wrong with me. What a fantastic afternoon of pure rugby was ruined by stupid rude ignorant individuals leaping to ther feet and girating about like over excited-children whenever Tigers came anywhere near Quins try line. This, relatively new habit, copied from football supp...

Re: A letter from Connor O Shea to Quins

I like COS - genuine, thoughtful and a real gent. He freely admitted that Quins had been stuffed on Saturday.

I am pleased to see that he will continue as DOR @ Quins next year. Were he a round ball manager, he could have expected the chop.

Great attitude from our boys, today.

Sarries have not lost on their plastic pitch yet and I can't see Saints beating them tomorrow to be honest.

Re: Wasps game

Never saw what started the incident even though it happened directly in front of me as I was watching the ball on the other side of the field.

However, Simpson needs his head examined - would you really front up to Manu if you were in your right mind? :smt001

[YBH] It's an absolute disgrace that this game isn't being played at Welford Road at 3.00pm on a Saturday afternon. [/YBH]

Re: Ospreys v Tigers

I remain optimistic of reaching the Quarter Finals but the home berths will all go to the sides winning the easiest pools by a large margin.

Roll on next Sunday! :smt038

Re: Tigers v Worcester

I shall look forward to watching this team on Friday night with my brother, an ex-Warrior and long-term Worcester supporter.

I think that I will be buying his beer in commiseration of their first home defeat since the beginning of the season....

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - 3rd v 4th!!!

The goals that GF missed were not the most difficult he will ever have to kick. In the context of a very tight game, however, his misses could have meant the difference between winning and losing.

His open play was laudible but his place kicking was less than good.
