Thanks Dailywaffle. I was obviously wrong about Sky! With Mrs Spanker putting a veto on Sky Sports looks like I'll be down the pub. Shame.

I have been to various stadia where the caterers operate a 'pre-pour' and basically get the ale stacked up prior to the whistle, by pouring 4 pints at a time. Surely they know how many pints they get through at half time and could 'pre-pour' say 75% of them beforehand. I know it might slightly impai...

Lets get things in perspective here. You will always, always, get idiots at any big gathering of people but I don't think the average rugby fan is turning in to knuckle scraping football thug. Some have no clue as to what is going on and are only there for the beer. However they will a) either soon ...

ITV4 Highlights Package

Did anyone catch the GP highlights programme yesterday evening at 18:30, on ITV4. I have to say I was almost moist eyed at rugby being back on the box on a Sunday night. As the Mrs has put a veto on Sky it was great to catch some of the GP. Also interestingly enough my 2 daughters watched transifxed...

Why have the games on the same day? Absolutely ludicrous, especially for a sport like rugby that is very much 'top down' ie country first for most people. ( That comment was not meant to inflame anybody I just think that for Joe Average, which clearly posters on this forum are not, England comes fir...

Duggan I agree that we can't agree all the time. But can we all agree to agree some of the time. And if we don't agree - don't feel aggrieved.

All agreed?

Munich Air Disaster

Although way too young to remember the tragic events of 50 years ago I think all sporting organisations should unite in remembering the dead from the Munich Air Disaster. A sort of solidarity in sport, as opposed to polarised opinion of a lot of round ball / rugby fans. Your thoughts?

Classic post Ze Stade Fan. Muchos humour. We 're loveable really, the English. We don't bleat too much when we're winning, a la Southern Hemisphere, and we don't moan too much when we're losing. Either way we'll have a drink with you. A good motto from my Uni days was: "Win or lose we'll drink ...

Dave Angel, didn't you once have a sidekick called Lewis, and have a particular penchant for crosswords? Yes I am going to the France Vs England game, so Rizzo I guess this is rugby related. Thanks to Ze Stad Fan. I'm printing out the maps now. Am particularly looking forward to visiting the street ...
