Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

I’m still glum about the result. Our rolling maul seemed our only weapon, we started out trying expansive but seemed to lose confidence and return to boring pointless kick plan 1, our returnees looked tired, our strike plays looked predictable, we kept missing first tackles (whatever the stats said)...

It’s like watching Quins v Saints. Both good in attack. Defence optional!!!!

Was just about to say the same.

If only England had a rock solid 15 on the bench……….

This game was gone when we had 2 yellow cards.
I look forward to next Friday for some payback

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

At least SB knows now who to pick at 15. Probably worth giving Furbank a go at the back to see what happens. Roll the dice and bring on Smith at half time. No he doesn’t. Otherwise we’d have a rock solid full back on the pitch this game. Take the last few minutes as an example, Furbanks butter fing...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

England lost that - Scotland simply capitalised on mistakes by England. England forwards excellent but some of England backs were dreadful and cost us the game due to poor selections compounded by poor handling in the pitch. Lawrence couldn’t catch a cold, Furbank has done Steward a favour by showin...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Anyone else disappointed by George as Captain. Zero leadership on the pitch. Nope. Just you…. :smt009 Not saying he’s a bad player. He’s been my starting no.2 he just never engages with the ref, talks to the players, barks out orders. Go and read the news about what’s happened in his life recently....

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat

Oh dear - Daly, Fairbank and Lawrence have been poor. Lawrence can’t catch a cold. Fairbank can attack but can’t defend. Which must be depressing for the forwards who have been dominant.

And Dan Cole needs reporting to the ABC club. Chasing down kicks and running like a 21 year old winger :smt040
