Re: Could it happen

Sadly inconsistency every game has cost us very dear this season. Poor use of our kicking strategy and line out ideas have been the two stand out problems. An earlier post on another thread, was looking forward to the return of the international players, which includes BY. I'm not sure, especially ...

Re: Newcastle win again

Making excuses about us having injuries etc, etc, etc is nonsense, all the other teams are in the same position with injuries, we are in this position because the players and coaches are not good enough. I'm afraid the above is right. I watch most of the other televised games over a weekend, as a n...

Re: Tigers v Wasps

Great to win the game, but apart from Joe Ford, we weren't very convincing. Having watched all the other televised games over this weekend, you're not wrong. The middle of the table is tightly bunched. An improvement in still needed......but a top 6 place is achievable. It needs hard work by all co...

Re: Tigers v Wasps

Whether people think JPD is right or wrong, depends on what colour shirt they're following, or what coloured tinted spectacles they're wearing. The foot connecting with the head, involved an incident which in it's entirety was over in less than a second. The ball was available. The try, he couldn't ...

I agree, and not only for the points scored. When the game was looking like it could go pear shaped in the last 15 minutes or so, he stepped forward at crucial times, and tried to steady it.

Thank you. That's my point.

Re: Worcester vs Tigers

Is it the players though Coleshilad or are they playing to orders? England were the same Saturday. Just had a thought. 2003. World cup. When you look at the final few phases, the very last minute or so. I think it was good captaincy, and the team playing what was in front of them on the field that ...

Re: Worcester vs Tigers

Is it the players though Coleshilad or are they playing to orders? England were the same Saturday. I don't know the answer to that. However, the players at this level have been around the block a few times. They don't get to this position without knowing what they're doing. Is it '"over coachi...

Re: Worcester vs Tigers

Kicking poorly from rucks is not just a Tigers failed ploy, but is evident throughout Prem and even some International games. Used sparingly and effectively can be a great tool to crack defenses. However like most aspects of life it has become a fad that everyone must try. Get back to passing and r...

Re: Wales v England

Absolutely awful display by England in the second half. For me Gatland totally outsmarted Jones. We knew there was a 2 week break in which Wales would have studied our gameplay. Therefore we should have spent those 2 weeks in adopting a different approach. Arrogant by us to not change up our game. ...

Re: Manu to Racing 92?

Ben Kayinteresting on tv for Glaws v Sarries match. Seemed resigned to Manu going, but saying that Fords contract ends next season, and that there has to be something in the pot for him, with flyhalves being so important in today’s game. He implied that if you don’t have the 10, what is the point o...

Re: Manu to Racing 92?

I've heard he's signed for Racing, done deal. Don't shoot the messenger :smt027 Ahh, just seen this: https://www.rugbypass.com/news/manu-tuilagi-has-signed-for-racing-92 "Sinking ship?" The rest of the idiom is, I think, far too harsh, and doesn't apply. Realistically though, quality play...

I don't think it's crazy either. I'd like to see how he goes in the no. 9 shirt. I think a lot of people would be surprised. He's got the skill set to do it.

I don't have a problem with Butler, but Davies is getting close to me turning the sound off.
