Re: Murphy's "vision".

The Ownership/BoD excuse is only partly valid, but we have a squad full of current and ex internationals and the BoD don't coach these players, so the buck stops with the Head Coach. Under Murphy's reign last season we had historically the worst season ever. We are currently half way through this se...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3

Singleton may want to play well for Leicester, especially as he will be playing for Borthwick and keen to impress Jones, but if he’s in contract that means Saracens holds all the bargaining chips. Personally I would sign him on a season loan, and try extend it into a proper contract afterwards. Agr...

Re: Murphy's "vision".

I wouldn't have a clue where to begin to right our performances what concerns me is that those whose job it is might not either. I believe it is a combination of the right calibre of coaches who will create synergy in a squad first, then build on the game strategy fed from the Head Coach across the...

Pathetic and embarrassing, anyone who makes any positives out of this game need their heads examining. Thank you Sarries (not) for saving Murphy neck!

Jack Singleton would be a shrewd and wise signing as our first two hookers are on the slide and the rest are decent benchers but not starting prospects.

Less due to Nadolo tweeting support of Genge. More Nadolo being seen at Welford Road suited and booted, putting out Instagram posts such as "every end is a new beginning" (a comment of a Tiger emoji underneath is liked by cousin and former Tiger Lote Tuquiri) or the tweet "got some good news...stay...

How on earth does Nadolo tweeting support to Genge get directly interpreted that he's coming to Tigers? :smt017

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

The frame work for a card makes it clear that a high tackle is contact with the head or neck. Above the 'line of the shoulders' includes on top of the shoulder, ask any community or elite ref, no contact needs to be made with the head or neck to be a high tackle. The World Rugby Framework is mislea...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

From laws perspective the line of the shoulder is a line along the top of the shoulder so a hand on the shoulder is over that line and high on this context. Where does it say this in the laws? It clearly says above the shoulder, not on the shoulder. I wouldn't say on is above The frame work for a c...

If by glass jaw you mean he got well and truly decked by Whitey, I think you're underestimating White's punching power, many did!

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

I don’t think the term ‘seat belt tackle’ is in the law. The term though refers to when the arm goes over the shoulder in front of the neck, like a seatbelt. Grabbing the shoulder is fine. Are you Lol in disguise? Point taken, so change ‘seatbelt’ to ‘high’ ie contact on or above the shoulder, whic...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

Ben Whites try saving tackle WAS by law a seatbelt tackle therefore we were lucky not to concede a penalty try. White grabbed on top of the shoulder when Kibirige was still in possession, I don’t think the term ‘seat belt tackle’ is in the law. The term though refers to when the arm goes over the s...
