Re: Harlequins v Tigers

Tickets have been on sale for several weeks now. Decided to make this a weekend away in London and picked up 3 tickets from the Quins offy. Reasonably priced from £27 for the lower tier. Just need to register but that was no problem.

Re: 2016/17 kits - 10% off at Kitbag (but not at the clubsho

A word of caution. Kitbag are in possession of 100s and 100s of shirts rejected by the club due to poor manufacturing across the range and ‘scratches’ to the player quality replicas. You may want to check before you buy.

I have rejected 5 shirts in the shop recently before finding an acceptable one.

Re: Tigers pitch is a disgrace

Moan, moan, moan. Do you think that the head groundsman and his team don’t care? A pitch is a living organism that is subject of many uncontrollable influences. There is no precise science here but there is a lot of effort goes it to what is controllable. Don’t bother reading the link if you’d like ...

Re: Final Penalty v Saints...

The referee said it was for playing the 9. Same offence as tackling a man without the ball. I doubt that Lawes intended to interfere with the 9 as he was probably attempting to get to the ball as all of the players were off their feet and therefore no ruck. Very risky move and resulted in him trippi...

Re: Now tv app

Thanks for this Loretta. I was going to listen to radio with a dodgy internet stream!

Having seen this post I connected my laptop to my 55 inch Sony TV, downloaded the app from the Microsoft store, signed up for a one day pass and now watching the build up with a fantastic picture.

Re: New club shop

I called into the new shop this afternoon and was surprised at how big it is. It is slightly smaller but better laid out. I suspect due to the quality of the décor and set up it will be around for a while. You can park in front of the MetRX as the barrier went up without using the intercom. The new ...

Re: Independence Cup Match Cancelled

Update from Ticketmaster – ‘thank you for reaching out to us. We have confirmed your event is cancelled. As fans we feel your pain’!! That made me smile. Refund to follow so no serious damage other than disappointed JTC members and loss of currency fees. As for the LTASC its not me. Let the process ...

Re: Independence Cup Match Cancelled

Oh dear, it looks like Tigers got into bed with the cowboys. Our CEO blames USARugby and they have now issued a statement in response. http://usarugby.org/news/item/usa-rugby-player-welfare-paramount-when-sanctioning-matches-registration-required NRFL want to exist outside of World Rugby and USA Rug...

Re: Independence Cup Match Cancelled

No haven’t got a refund and I expect I will be out of pocket when the dust settles. The problem is expectation and excitement. I’ll get over it but my children were looking forward to seeing a game in Philadelphia. I’m not looking to apportion blame. I’ll leave that to Ticketmaster who I suspect wil...

Re: Independence Cup Match Cancelled

It does matter. Tigers announced the fixture to its supporters and informed them where they could get tickets from. I bought 4 and will now have to take it up with Ticketmaster to get a refund. When I contacted Ticketmaster they were not happy as they still hand tickets on sale. They agreed to get b...

Re: Independence Cup Match Cancelled

Not surprising after last weeks article in the Mercury. Bit of a faux pax by the club though, smacks of amateurism all round. Lots of publicity and trips to Philadelphia and did not seek to clarify who holds the power! I was already in Washington and did not make the travel arrangements to get to th...

Re: Leicester to play Pre season game in Lincoln Financial F

Tickets purchased. $30 tickets ended up being $46 each after Ticketmaster fees and whatever else they added. I started at 3pm and finally got them at 9pm as the site kept crashing with Ticketmaster saying the demand was unexpected. At 3pm I rejected tickets behind the posts only to accept them at 9p...

Re: Leicester to play Pre season game in Lincoln Financial F

Booked a holiday in the USA before Christmas and promised the family we would go to a game. I did not expect it would involve The Tigers. We will be in Washington that weekend. Four very happy season ticket holders in the house tonight. Yes I’ve been to Philadelphia before and we will be wearing Tig...
