Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
Would like to see the young prop at Sale given a shot off the bench for 15-20 minutes as he has huge potential . I think he's got some way to go yet. Club and country (U20s) are playing him in different positions and I suspect England are very much in the "let him develop" camp, rather th...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
Fissler reporting Quins are attempting to "gazzump" us for Pereise. More concerningly he states "The Tigers, who have met with several players from the Premiership, United Rugby Championship and Super Rugby, are yet to get a deal across the line." Now perhaps I'm guilty of over ...

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby
All reasonable points of view, it's a matter of opinion of course and I may well be wrong. Why can't the Prem be as successful as thr French league? I do think Premiership football is part of it, clearly there are reasons why we're getting £3m and French clubs are getting £7m - I doubt it's just be...

Re: Next seasons season ticket
We appear to have lost benefits. Previous seasons there have been free tickets to two games, this year it was one in the Prem Cup and the upcoming fixture against Bristol. Next year it's just one in the Prem Cup. Although if you're in the Cat 1 seats you get a free Ref Link. And we will all get bir...

Re: 2024 Six Nations Chat
A bit flippant maybe, but if you put the current All Blacks 15 in white shirts with the Borthwick game plan, would they win games ? Yes. +1 Same with the Ireland or Safrican XVs. On a basic level they just have the combinations and understanding - and basic skill level - to eliminate a lot of the e...

Re: Next seasons season ticket
The email from Andrew Pinchen makes reference to additonal benefits for season ticket holders. Have these benefits been communicated? All i've had is an email telling me the new price of my season tickets. which have gone up by 27%. We appear to have lost benefits. Previous seasons there have been ...

Re: Next seasons season ticket
I'm struggling to work out what exactly the pricing is here. Ive tried to read through the board, but suspect Im not alone in being a little confused. I think for my adult terrace ticket; > I paid £260 last year (I've checked my direct debits) > The same ticket this year is probably £360 +£5 admin ...

Re: Next seasons season ticket
Sadly that will be me and my wife too. The Terrace ST price is going up from £290 if purchased before May 6th 2023 (it might have been cheaper if there was an early bird last year for existing ST holders but I don't have that information) to £320 if purchased before March 31st. There seems to be a ...

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby
There isn't an idea I detest more than creating regional franchises in English rugby. However... many of the same arguments were made against cricket's The Hundred, and that competition is attracting TV viewers and attendances that the county game could only dream of. I would just point out that re...

Re: Trailfinders a sad indictment of rugby
I would support a semi pro Tigers in the Championship, I would never support a feeder team losing our players to a regional franchise wherever they played, wrong on every level. How about if the regional teams and club teams had different seasons as happens in the southern hemisphere. I think the i...
