Re: Glynn and Mele leaving the club

Never convinced over Mr Glynn's competency, that said wish him and his family all the best for the future. David Mele seems a classic case of last in first out, necessitated by the coronavirus fiscal damage. I think Glynn was perfect for the job he was eventually in; there can be no doubt he superv...

Re: Glynn and Mele leaving the club

Seems that way; the higher up the chain someone is the bigger the saving the club will make. Sounds reasonable that the DoR takes Glynn’s role in this case. He wouldn’t have been on a small salary.

Re: Transfers and Rumours Non-Tigers 2019-20

Carl Fearns signs for Rouen. Coached by Richard Hill. According to Wiki in threat of relegation though the suspension of the French league might help them get out of that. A few notable names like Mapapalngi, Lemi, Shaun Knight and Perenise. Bit of an odd move for Fearns. Maybe Covid hampered his a...

then we should specifically source the most ethical supplier available. Exactly. This is what should happen all the time, then the sweat shops would die out. But as you say, we're all hypocrites to some extent. Because we aren’t willing to buy, and therefore the club would be daft to sell, a shirt ...

I don't really care about the make, but giving money to Mike Ashley is not something I'd do lightly. Saying that I haven't bought an England shirt since the 2007 world cup, and that was in a sale after it.... Don't see the problem. Canterbury are part of the same group as JD Sports, who have also h...

Wasps sign Rob Hardwick to their senior academy after he was released by us.
You'd hope many of them are hoovered up by the other clubs. Shows the quality of the academy graduates. :smt001

He didnt say a fat lot did he?!
To be fair, he had ten minutes to summarize what is apparently 60 pages of detailed policy to be published later today. Say anymore, or take anymore time, and no one would watch.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

I dont think we really lost sight of the academy,it was still defeating all comers. The secret though is the transitioning from academy to the first team. I dont believe the coaching setup was good enough to blood them,I believe it is now though. Before the overhaul the academy was not in a good wa...

Snippets of England’s training kit has been released, I just want Nike back!
Snippets of a unidentifiable shirt with a red rose and an umbro logo. Why don’t we be revolutionary and allow them to “show us the goods” before shooting them down.

Re: Rob Taylor joins as Assistant Coach

Taylor is an interesting recruit. Although not coaching at the top of the game and given his background, I wonder how much of his role (alongside the direct duties of the attack) will be nurturing the young talent into the squad.
