As we cannot get relegated I would use the end of season games to mix the combinations, and give players a chance to show what they can do., in preparation for next season.
Undoubtedly to a point, certainly once top six not mathematically possible.

Re: Team for Exeter

I think it’s almost too difficult to predict, particularly given how the squad will have to be manipulated for the midweek games. It’ll be a strong side first up though; the right tone needs setting. I’d hope to see something like: 1. Genge 2. Youngs 3. Cole 4. Green 5. Lavanini 6. Liebenburg 7. Ref...

Re: Ringfencing almost upon us ?

Ealing's only chance is if Newcastle go under, but does rugby really need another London club in the Prem? No, probably not, which is why future promotion would be decided by other methods than league position. Almost reaching the “franchise” model but having Quins, LI and Trailfinders within a few...

Seems to me that Abendanons motives were to do with money and lifestyle for him and his family.
To be honest, isn’t that the motivation for most sane people with a family?

Yeah, extra bodies for training but probably no harm keeping them around for the fixture congestion in the coming few weeks.

Re: Fiji entering the 6 Nations

The French are not happy with the test window proposals. The French are never happy it is their nature! That French hooker we had was a good egg as well; his sojourn (derivation - French ‘sejour’) in Leicester even got him sufficiently fluent in English to be able to commentate on rugby. Wasn’t he ...

Would that mean no way back in to Prem then - if no relegation or promotion? How would Sarries feel about that?
Sarries are a PRL shareholder so would just join a ring fenced Prem.

Re: New Kit

Are there lots of unscrupulous companies queuing up to make knock off Tigers gear? I doubt it. Yeah, but we’re talking about a decision made over 15 years ago. No one could have predicted then how inept the governance of the game would be or the lack of growth it would have in the global market.

Re: New Kit

At a supporters forum meeting a few seasons ago, a new sponsor was teased, and when someone mentioned Topps Tiles as a possibility, they were more than laughed, they were jeered out of court. The actual new sponsor was Caterpillar. Topps Tiles!!! How are the mighty fallen. If I remember the dates c...

I'm pretty sure they will keep the terrace/build a replacement terrace when the Crumbie is finally redeveloped. Had it not been for lockdown, I reckon they would have started on it next season.
Surely concentrating on the projects outside the ground first?

how they incorporated the Stihl logo is very good (which is a first for a Tigers kit).
Apart from the time they made the whole kit orange? :smt003
