Re: England Changes Vs SA

So Saffers and Tigers supply 6 each, Quins and Irish 3 each, Wasps 2, Saints only 1.

I was going to be harsh on Saints' current strength, but on reflection there's Hartley, Lawes and Foden who would be 1st choice normally, plus Dowson and Dickson.

Re: BT VISION to have excliusive Rugby Union broadcast rights

For me, having got rid of ESPN last year for financial reasons, it will now be a question of whether to keep Sky at all. I'm a general sports fan and will watch anything, but I'm already aggrieved that I'm paying over the odds for Premiership football I don't really need. I'll clearly be getting BT ...

Re: Dan Bowden from Irish to Tigers?

To be fair, BY was the place kicker when we beat South Africa, and scored 17 points out of 22.

Re: Leicester v Clermont Auvergne

Great to see the win. Obviously need to win at Ravenhill now.

To be fair, I think there is home refereeing in every HC game - not least last week!

You must be mistaken. Apparently this is impossible as Italian teams are no longer a pushover.

Re: Setanta Sports

From a purely selfish point of view, as a Sky Sports subscriber who already pays far too much (high subs caused by all the Premier League football I don't watch), I wasn't ever going to pay more to subscribe to Setanta, so I was pretty dischuffed by the fact that Sky would be covering fewer GP match...

While I don't agree with generallee's views, I accept that he DOES know some people on the inside.

What exactly did Daryl say? Was he actually offered the job, or was he "invited to apply"?

Long time Tigers fan who rarely posts here, but I have to say I am shocked - he should have been given a full season at least. I hope the next coach/director of rugby/whatever is given the opportunity to select his own coaching staff, so that he can implement his own vision without being undermined.

I used to work for CAT at Desford and I'm pretty happy with this sponsorship. They are a big corporate but I think they are a reasonable company with (in my experience, at least) a good attitude to their workers. Also it was because I was working for CAT that I ended up living 5 mins from Welford Ro...

Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu is at 12, no less. But the whole of the back line (and the back row, come to that) is slicing us up.
