Re: Munster Rugby Supporters club, prematch Lunch.

We've decided to go. There will be plenty of time to make the informal visits to the other pubs over the weekend. Besides, its going to rain all day on Saturday and we'll want to be somewhere dry.

Just one question; is there a dress code?

I have a spare ticket in the East Stand for the match on Saturday. Would anybody be interested in it?

Re: Silence for the kicker

I agree. I can live with children's chatter. They can't be expected to know although they should be inducted into the tradition. I have no time for the adults who think its funny to call out. At one time the Stewards were instructed to identify people who call out and warn them. If they repeatedly c...

Re: Silence for the kicker

I want to thank the club for taking up the suggestion made on this forum last week that requests for silence be posted on the screen while kicks were being taken during the Sale match yesterday. I was a bit sceptical that it would have any impact at first. There was no discernible reduction in noise...

Re: Silence for the kicker

I agree. I think it needs at least that. I also think a reminder on the screen is good. The potential problem to that is that the screen at the Aylestone Road end is directly behind the posts, so, when the kick is at that end, an announcement on the screen could be a distraction. My point is that we...

Re: Silence for the kicker

In my experience, Tigerbeat, as a season ticket holder who attends virtually all home games and many away, there is generally only mention on the pa system after there has been noise during a kick and its usually offered apologetically. The club really has to be more proactive than that. I suggest y...

Silence for the kicker

Unless decisive action is taken by the club to preserve the tradition of remaining silent for the kicker, it is a tradition that will die out at Welford Road within two or three seasons. Although concern about increasing abuse of the tradition has been brought to the attention of the club they have ...

Champions' Cup Fixture Weekends

I'm guessing the fixtures have not yet been announced for the coming season but do we know which weekends the matches will be played? When will the fixtures be announced?

Re: Silence at all kicks!

I am a season ticket holder and attend most, if not all home matches and have not heard it. If I haven't it means that it doesn't have enough prominence. Other people will not have heard it either. I raised it with Charles Dagnall a couple of seasons ago and he said he wasn't allowed to say anything...

Silence at all kicks!

I read the information on the pre-match e-mail properly for the first time today. I was particularly pleased to see the three principles of Sportsmanship. I think some of it could be re-phrased in more inclusive language but I particularly welcome the fact that first on the list is "Silence at ...
