Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests

Always an enjoyable listen and I never miss an episode. Provides a refreshing, balanced perspective on the performance which usually makes me feel better about things if we've lost! Great quality of guests as well, so keep it up lads. :smt026 I'm still yet to submit a three word review though, must ...

Re: Genge leaving

If you're Borthwick watching him doing videos with Lam, do you start Genge on Boxing Day? I'm not sure I would. I'd be tempted not to start him at all. Judging by his past couple of games his head is not there. “I cannot express how grateful I am to all my teammates, coaches and fans at Welford Roa...

Re: Bordeaux away

I don't care how good Pollard is (and he is very good), I just don't see how he can be as good for us as Ford has been. And I don't mean that as a slight on Handre, he looks an excellent player and one I'm excited about us signing. It's more a commentary on how good George has been for us since pre...

He's still got another year of his contract to run I believe, so is exiting a year early.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE V: Borthwick Strikes Back

When was Freddie last a first choice FH in the Prem? since he left Gloucester back in 2014? one of the back-ups for Fordy and then second to Priestland. I see the merit in signing a solid back-up but Freddie is too inconsistent and not a strong enough leader on and off the pitch. He was first choic...

Re: Geordan Murphy leaves the club!

I'd like to place on record (for what it's worth) my gratitude to Geordan for all the good he's done for this club, mainly as a player but also steadying the ship when thrown in at the deep end as a coach. I'm certain we'd have shipped a lot more players than we have had it not been for him. A lot o...

Re: Wigglesworth in!

Good signing imo. Will bring a culture of success very few in our squad have experienced which will hopefully rub off on the rest of the players. As for those of you saying you want nothing to do with the club now, I assume you also turned your back on the club while we had players like Johnno, Juli...

Re: Bye Bye Boris

A huge loss, he was the one shining light amongst the coaches during the last few disappointing seasons. While other aspects of our game have suffered, the scrum has been the only thing that still functions at the level it's always done. Thanks for everything Boris, and good luck in your next ventur...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2020/21 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD EPISODE IV: A New Hope

Interesting in the article on the website that he is a back up to Ford, Henry and McPhilips. Does this suggest we see Henry as more of a 15 or because he is covering both we need extra bodies? Hardwick now considered a centre as Radio Leicester suggesting? It say's he'll add depth alongside the oth...

Re: Teams up v Bath

I read with interest the variety of views after two games under the new regime. A large number of those who were shouting for huge change at all levels Board, Coaching and Playing and subsequently got their wish now appear very dissatisfied with the progress made after two games. The DOR, a number ...

Makes you wonder if there aren’t a few non-Tigers fans on a wind up
Either that or they expected Harry Potter to rock up with his wand and miraculously make everything all ok instantly.
