Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

I believe his decision to leave early was as a result of Melbourne Rebels losing their fly halves and asked Tigers for an early release. Had Tigers still been fighting relegation, I doubt that Tigers would have agreed to an early exit. Had Tigers been in a European / Premier Final I suspect Toomua ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

Traveller, dont believe that vitriol is seeping into this thread. JTG has just provided his response to yourpost. No. No. No. I genuinely meant what I said. JTG's post was excellent. I was not being sarcastic, ironic. All the points he made were perfectly reasonable in my view. We just disagree. I ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

I am impressed by the skill of JP14 in creating that video however I do think the conclusions particulrly the one drawn by Traveller are a little harsh. In life we all make decisons that we come to regret. For Toomua it is now apparent that he thought his regular international career over, I doubt ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

I have made a video documenting Toomua's time at Tigers, hope you enjoy it and above all that is accurate! https://youtu.be/uF13rJFvzbs Well done. I hope Toomua is never allowed back at Welford Road in any capacity. Not even as a spectator. I forget which King it was who Simon Sharma described as '...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

There is an excellent summary by Owen Slot in today’s Times of the possible outcomes and their likely consequences. Sorry I can’t copy it, but its worth a read. Managed to copy it :smt001 If Saracens escape punishment, it will kill the salary cap The Times Wales dropped from first to fourth in the ...

Re: New Kit

The issue is not a deal with Kukri or not, but the deal with Kitbag, in whose hands matters of Tigers kit lies and who therefore have control over which manufacturer will supply kit and over what period, the Club having some but not overriding input. The Club is looking forward to getting back cont...

Re: Wasps doing the right thing

No doubt player welfare at Tiger's is top of our illustrious CEO Mr Cohen's agenda. I am sure it is. I am sure of that. Sure that Tiger's are leading the way.

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

And another week goes by. 5 full months since the investigation was first announced by Premiership Rugby. You’d think Nigel Wray would be angry that it hasn’t been made clear to all and sundry that Saracens are squeaky clean. And remember - it’s not me - it was those charged with oversight for the i...

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

Maybe there is nothing to investigate, green eyed monsters on here when it comes to anything Saracens. Not so, imo. Smart operators who are flying a little too close to the wind. It's weird you should write as much. It is the Premiership Organisers, the people who have legal oversight for running t...

Re: Ground development

I'm perplexed. Something Mr Cohen is associated with not going to plan or in line with previous press announcements. I eagerly await the press release from our omnipotent CEO Mr Cohen, probably something along the following lines: "As CEO I want to make it clear that along with the quality of cateri...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD Part 1

Wow look at all the keyboard assassins who have never been near any of the rolls under discussion yet can say the incumbents are no good. Maybe just maybe the players weren't good enough to take on board the coaching and execute it. Get over last season and support your team, new players who might ...
