Re: Next up London Irish - home - 5th March 2021

I can’t work out the Ben White interest. I know his pedigree was impeccable (youngest ever Tiger, successful England U20 etc.) But isn’t elite sport littered with players just like him, who don’t then kick on. He hasn't a newbie. He's already played 60+ games for Tigers, but is now finding it hard ...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

What benefits him & England in the long term, time training with England or playing 80mins for Tigers today? What would have benefitted him and the England team would to have been in a forward looking squad, alongside other high performing young individuals attempting to build a side for the next w...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

+1 This is what I can’t stand about Eddie Jones. What benefits him & England in the long term, time training with England or playing 80mins for Tigers today? Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

Eddie, if your team is to be the best in the world, you need to get some basics right in selection. That was just the result England rugby needed and will surely force the pig-headed Jones’ hand in bringing about some well overdue changes. Next up are France!! Can’t wait ! Allez les bleus !!!! OK. ...

Who is the Bristol clown trying to commentate?
Max Lahiff apparently
Thank you - Ex Wellington College boy - that explains it. A legend in his own mind.

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

EJ is a contrarian, that is all you need to know about his selection process, he does things differently because he likes to be different, anyone trying to make deeper sense of it is barking up the wrong tree, nothing in EJ's selections are based on logic, quite the contrary, the more it winds the ...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

I agree with everything you say. We clearly make our comments without access to the information he uses to make his selection decisions and he stand or falls on the decisions he makes. That said, I do think that it is interesting to hear other supporters opinions on selection, providing it is not j...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

I don't think most are saying that Eddie is not a great coach and clearly his record with England is testimony to the fact. However, many are also left struggling in trying to understand some of his current selection decisions, particularly based on his previous statements regarding the basis for p...

Re: 6 NATIONS 2021

Not sure what an international coach has got to do to put some credit in the bank. Between 2004 and 2015 England won one 6N (no Grand Slam). Under Jones England have won 3 6Nations including one Grand Slam and a WC Final (defeat). For Saturday (and as he has done since he took over) Wayne Pivac pick...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFvIjNhmjsQ&ab_channel=EnglandRugby Nice to see Curry offering George Martin some 1-1 advice during the latest O2 Inside Line episode, really think he's going to come back to us a better player +1 Yeah that was class from Curry, already has become a leader within the...

Re: Sale game moved - Teams up

In a game we only won because Faf de Klerk was kicking for the sticks. Ever heard of confirmation bias? Yes, confirmation bias is about interpreting, information, and situations in a way that is consistent with one’s existing beliefs. It’s tends to subconscious and we all do it. And yes - that's al...

Re: Sale game moved - Teams up

The last time we played Sale at home in the Premiership with Murphy as Head Coach.... we WON 19-15. In a game we only won because Faf de Klerk was kicking for the sticks. Ever heard of confirmation bias? Yes, confirmation bias is about interpreting, information, and situations in a way that is cons...
