Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

Anyone else get the feeling Murimurivalu is leaving end of the season?

Same with Calum Green, I reckon with the cap going down we’ll see some squad players having to make way.

Also has been used as a jumper in the lineout sporadically. He seems to be very much in the same mould as MVS - which is a good thing and I’m sure he’ll fit in. I’ve no doubt if he smashes it we might see him here still next season.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

I could see this happening. He’s not been picked by England this week and must be disgruntled by the way Falcons have handled the test fees. Scott and Moroni have said the coaching and environment is first class at Tigers. Radwan knows he could thrive here and get right back in the shop window for E...

Great news that both Scott and Moroni have said they want to stay at the club. Both are massive for us in the backline and with Ford going, we want as much continuity as we can.

Re: 6 Nations 2022

Overall a good squad. Pleased for Heyes and Chessum who deserve to be there on form. Would have probably liked to see Collier and Radwan in over Stuart and Freeman. But can’t have too many complaints.

Re: 6 Nations 2022

I’d imagine a squad of: Marler, Genge, Rodd LCD, George, Blamire Collier, Sinckler, Heyes Itoje, Launchbury Hill, Ribbans Lawes, Martin Curry, Underhill Dombrandt, Barbeary Youngs, Randall Smith, Farrell Radwan, OHC Tuilagi, Kelly Slade, Marchant Nowell, Lynagh Steward, Malins Kelly gets in as the o...

Can Genge not pass? Stupid decision to cut inside and concede the penalty.

Two good tries! Can’t say we’ve been made to work too hard for either.

Re: 6 Nations 2022

Going to be an interesting selection for sure. First off I reckon neither Vunipola is going to be in the squad. Farrell on the flipside will 100% be in the mix. Players who probably deserve on form to be included would be Collier, OHC and Lynagh. You have to say Cole should be there too, Sinckler an...

Re: CONNACHT (A) - Saturday 15th January 2022 - 3-15pm

Going to be interesting. We’ve got plenty of forwards in need of a rest like Wells and Reffell. On the flipside we’ve plenty of backs in need of game time. I’d go for. Van Wyk Dolly Heyes Snyman Green Martin MVS Weise Youngs Burns Socino Moroni Samuaki Hegarty Murimurivalu Clare Whitcombe Cole Hende...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

Do wonder if yesterday highlighted the need for another back row If we had Brink still it would’ve been 4. Wells 5. Snyman 6. Chessum 7. Reffell 8. Brink A very different looking prospect. Please posters don't keep mentioning Brink, he's gone, forget it, I'm surprised RB that you mentioned it, we h...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls

Was it Borthwick who said with the lowering of the cap, getting players who can cover multiple positions would be the way going forwards. Botia whilst a 12 can cover backrow and yeah could see the thinking there. Hopefully with Nadolo and Muri in the squad, they could persuade him to join. Be intere...

Difficult to say. Wiese is obviously first choice and we know Liebenberg is also quality at 8. After that, MVS...

Re: Wasps (A) - Sunday 9th January 2022 - 3pm

Have to question why we kept on scrumming 5m out. I know we’ve a quality front row but surely all the analysts have told them there’s a higher success rate in going to the corner. Especially given how many tries we’ve scored off the back of lineouts. You never see penalty tries from scrums anymore.
