Re: Tigers v Worcester

Like most on here upset from a tigers point of view but made up that genge is in the match day team, completely deserved he’s having and amazing season. I’m just wondering where’s he playing/covering as both mako and Marler have also been retained.

Re: Tigers v Worcester

Sky sports mention Te’o one of the 9 released back to there club, hopefully he was rehabbing with them, as I don’t fancy him running at our possible back line.

Ravai fatiaki

I have seen on the squad list is ravai fatiaki, who after looking him up is a 30 year old FIJI centre. Does anyone know when he signed as I hadn’t heard, is it short term and does anyone know what he’s like as a player I’ve never heard or seen anything of him.

Re: Tigers v Worcester

I go with a similar time to last week, think you’ve got to keep Harrison and j ford together they need game time together they’re going to be the partnership for the six nations even if George doesn’t start he’ll be in the squad, also bring back on tait adds the second distributor. And we need to fi...
I think Tigers could experiment with a centre combo of Thacker and Owen. Genge can come off the bench and so can Fitzgerald. Thacker not there yet Owen to start with either Tait or Smith
I thin...

Re: Genge, Lozowski and Kruis sent back to clubs!

Absolutely crazy decisions, I would say genge is now 1st choice better than mako in the scrum and better than marlar in every way, he is absolutely England’s future prop so should be getting 2 years experience before the World Cup. It’s hard to argue eddy and his record but there have been a lot of ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2!!

It's sad but he clearly wants first team rugby at hooker. He's an exceptional all-round talent as a '2 / emergency 7' but, as a specialist hooker, the best he could hope for is 3rd behind OTY and Taf. McGuigan needs to push on after maybe not quite meeting expectations yet. I thought there where ti...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2!!

Or becoming a 7? The problem with that is the same as with hooker we have better specialists in those positions, being great around the park can’t make up for it, as long as he’s at tigers the best he can hope for is as an impact player off the bench. It would be great to hang on to all our home gr...

Re: Tigers vs Falcons

Just watched the match back on the premiership website, it seems much the same as last week blew them away in the 1st half then seem to take the foot of the gas and just go to one up running and all the backs play was very lateral, players just drifting with taut and smith knowing there just going t...

Re: Tigers playing for England

If Daly is injured who does EJ replace him with. A Back 3 player, my pick would be Rokoduguni (Wade’s defence has been pathetic and nonexistent) or a centre like Joe Marchant who’s is the other form 13 in the country and definitely deserves his chance with England. Not that I disagree with your tho...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2!!

With Zebo reputedly being offered €700,000 by Racing (http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Rugby+Union - £650,000), what are we going to have to offer Veainu in order to get him to sign another contract before the end of the season???????? It is worrying although I think a lot of the zebo offer will be...

Re: Transfers & Rumours Non Tigers 2016/17

It's been confirmed by Munster and Irish that Simon Zebo is leaving at the end of the season, no team listed as his destination but rumored to be France maybe racing. Is Phil Space not rumouring a move to Tigers to replace TV? Northampton inside line were quick to rumour he alone with any other ful...

Re: Tigers v Castres

Also is Ellis genge now classed as one of the best props in the world strong in the scrum, amazing around the park, strong, fast and only 22. Got to start for England ahead of mako, so much better in the scrum and as good around the park.

Re: Tigers v Castres

I think it's a case of taking your foot off the peddle cause you've taken a bonus point so easily. I don't think the subs came on and put their hands up for a starting place much like last week the tempo dropped, although Matt tait proved me wrong he had a great game and Hamilton again showing he's ...
