Re: Alex Sanderson.....

What rugby program is on? I assume they'll get fined if they refuse media interviews as some are obligatory.

Re: Saracens Cap Investigation

Quote: I’ve got sympathy with the players. If your employer offered you a coinvestment scheme and assured you he’d checked it out with his lawyers and tax accountants and also already declared it to the salary cap manager, are you sure you wouldn’t have taken him up on it? Tbh I'm a bit unclear here...

Re: Catering & Bar Feedback Seasons 2017,2018 & 2019/20

Went for the Saints game with only 16k people there. Service slow and poor in Robin Hood stand. No one seemed to know what they were doing. Sold out of pies. Contact less not working. Semper eadem.

Re: World Cup players

It's the right question but too simple an answer. How come it's Murphy not providing the right skill levels but they're good enough to be internationals? As the other person said the squad was lacking in depth. Where the coaches can be blamed is in an apparent failure to create a clear game plan and...

Re: Elitism in Rugby

1. Someone said (I paraphrase) ‘successive socialist govts have discouraged contact sport and as a result schools have sold off playing fields.’ Jeez. Where to begin on correcting that. Pretty much every word is wrong. 2. Private / public schools are not particularly academic. For the vast majority ...

Adds more light to Peter Tom’s decision to spend more time in Guernsey.

Gustard was very much a winner as a coach at Sarries and at England.

Re: Winners (at last!)

How well the team is going definitely makes a difference to attendances and so it should. There will always be a core who will watch come rain or shine, but ultimately it’s a form of entertainment. And watching a team lose week in, week out is not entertaining as I think we can all attest.

Re: Bodies

Can’t imagine the CEO of Goldman Sachs saying he’s hired some top quality bodies. Or as per the earlier example, Pep Guardiola. They talk of top talent and exciting things to come.

I do agree with Traveller that it’s an annoying word in this context. MoC used it a lot. I don’t think it sets a great tone.

Re: London Irish: an immorality tale?

I think Ourla’s point is just that. There is no basis for this. Just old blokes who want to make allegations that bad behaviour is widespread (false) to justify their own outdated views and prejudices.
