Re: Bodies
Can’t imagine the CEO of Goldman Sachs saying he’s hired some top quality bodies. Or as per the earlier example, Pep Guardiola. They talk of top talent and exciting things to come.

Re: Bodies
I do agree with Traveller that it’s an annoying word in this context. MoC used it a lot. I don’t think it sets a great tone.

Re: London Irish: an immorality tale?
I think Ourla’s point is just that. There is no basis for this. Just old blokes who want to make allegations that bad behaviour is widespread (false) to justify their own outdated views and prejudices.

The premiership is getting so competitive and it would be hard to point to our signings be that much better than some other clubs. Look at Sale. And I currently have more faith in Diamond as a coach - if most certainly not as a person.

Re: London Irish: an immorality tale?
Would be unfair to call you a dinosaur but life has changed, and yes even in rugby clubs. You might even have noticed women’s teams and masses of juniors at most amateur clubs. These are the lifeblood of the game now. Not the antics of blokes in the 70s and 80s. Combine that with corporate values wh...

Re: France - end of season round up.
Thx Robespierre. I always enjoy your updates. And experience envy at you living there! I’ll have to make do with some Provence rosé and some half decent weather in Staffs today. Only 15 more years of work.......

I hope that too. But it does seem to be sadly heading in that direction. Fingers crossed whatever happens he ends up safe and well.

Re: London Irish: an immorality tale?
I strongly believe he shouldn’t play for Tigers and stated that at the time of the court case. That hasn’t changed for me.
I note the Venn diagram for those that support Folau and Jackson is two directly overlapping circles. Go figure on their views in respect of women and homosexuals.

Service still as slow and shocking as ever. Didn’t end up having a drink before or after as it was so slow.

Re: Tigers v Bristol - 27th April 2019
My first live home match for a while. What a lot of bilge. Bristol weren’t even very good. I think it says it all that we got beaten by a poor side and us fans took it in their stride. No one was surprised. Will the new players in the squad next season change things? I’m not sure it will make enough...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6
I think it will be finances that decide who leaves Newcastle. Will they be able to fund the current squad in the Championship? No doubt Wilson will be concerned about the potential impact on his international career. I don’t know if there are parachute payments for clubs in the same way as for the f...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6
I’m assuming that with the distractions - a relegation battle, Ford’s arrival - there is little likelihood of any announcements until season end. And we are so close to season end now it’s not long to wait. Still wonder whether it will just be the ones we’ve heard about or there will be some that th...

Re: Folau
To be fair to Sarries (not something I enjoy!), I guess this constitutes the yellow card that Folau got first time round. Hopefully we would see a strong response if he did it again.
