Re: Transfers & Rumours Non-Tigers 2022
Edwards signed by Bristol. Apols if already posted on another thread. Given his early release he'll probably score the winning try against us on Saturday

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
I have often posted that Tigers lack genuine pace and a ball carrying threat. I thought we solved that issue signing OHC and Watson not to mention Wiese. Strikes me that OHC as has been widely muted is a different player from when he was at Irish, Watson is still long term injured and Wiese is off....

Re: Tigers v Saints (A) - Premiership - Saturday 20th April 2024 - KO: 15-05
Apologies in advance if what I am about to say upsets anyone. I have heard management and coaches say things like "keeping the Tigers DNA" in how we play....strong scrum, powerful forwards, driving mauls. In fact I think AP even said DMK was hired partly because he would keep this "Ti...

Yes, excellent points, and your opinion. Mine is different, I don’t have confidence at this point, happy to be proved wrong. my opinion is that finishing in the second tier of Europe, with this squad would be dire, especially compared to the fantastic job Wiggy did, retiring, taking his first head ...

And with talk of release fees it doesn't sound like mere idle speculation by either the journalists or the IRFUtrendylfj wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2024 12:59 pm https://www.rugbypass.com/news/munster- ... d-centres/

Re: Champions' Cup Quarter finals 2024
It is interesting how funding in different countries works for their teams. I have just read a quote from SA Rugby in response to seeming criticism from Jake White about the logistical contortions needed to get his team here for this weekend. SA Rugby say they have spent £175k on flights for the Bul...

I’ve not washed my car as that would certainly mean rain! I’m just working out a couple of routes as the A1 at Washington has had problems all week! I’m driving back afterwards but have to get there first!! A1 Doncaster has been bad all week too but at least you can get off and go through Pontefrac...

Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) - Premiership - Friday 29th March 2024 - KO: 19-45
Sadly Martin, like Earle are the two England players Borthwick dreads having out. Martin was limping a lot after 60 minutes v Ireland, was a doubt v France and played on after taking a couple of heavy knocks but had loads of strapping. It’s a shame for us that in a shortened season we will be missi...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45
Didn’t post last night as I was still seething at that performance. Gloucester deserved their win and for me there are no excuses for Tigers playing like they did. Like Scuttle, will be making the 6-7 hour round trip next Friday but dreading it could be another repeat of last year if we play like l...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45
Sorry to bore everyone with stats, but I'm curious why no one seems to be saying we kicked too much (although I'll admit I haven't read the whole thread)? Edit: just seen the above post! Today was the most we've kicked in a Prem game all season. To illustrate how poor the quality of both teams was ...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45
Playoffs gone. DMK needs to go, this is abysmal. Personally not 100% sure but they aren’t good enough at all I think Jury is very much out at the moment I also think a lot of the senior players aren’t leading enough I agree and saw no energy or anyone generating energy through leadership. Glos want...

This is a true story, I promise: I looked the the Shedweb Forum this morning and saw a post from glis suppirter travelling for the match this evening and saying he had seen Leo Cullen and his staff on the flight to Bristol. Nothing strange in that, other than my immediate thought "why would Cu...
