A substantial portion of the next home crowd will be over 60 (including me). Not a wet-leg moment yet, but...... :smt009
As of this Wednesday that will include me too, although I am not expecting too much to change. A bit like an old car.... it's not the years but the mileage that counts.

Re: Sarries vs Leicester - Teams Up

Looking on the bright side it was almost an identical score as our home game against them. Indeed, one could say we are improving as we scored 3 more points in the away fixture...24-10 versus 24-13. 😂

Tickets to Internationals

I could do with a bit of help please. I want to buy tickets for an England match (Eng v Italy now that delayed or AIs) as a birthday present. Looking online I worry I will be getting one from some dubious source. Can anyone provide advice on how best to go about it please? Thanks.

Re: Sale vs Leicester - 21st February 2020

A sleep (and a bottle of Merlot) later... 1. Taute was a game changing loss 2. Reid and McPhillips are not Premiership-standard 10 & 12 3. Steve Borthwick is coming in as Head Coach. Forget what you hear/see about Geordan still running the side. It will be Borthwick's boys playing to Borthwick's di...

Re: Is this a case of....

Everyone cheats in the scrum........... Don't they? It's a matter of what you can get away with. The only folk who don't know what is going on are the refs. Excuse me.......and us backs as well 😂😂 Apologies. Every team cheats in the scrum. These days the backs are in the congratulatory party so the...

Re: Tigers vs Wasps - 15th Feb

My concern about White, is that it seems he is already getting himself a reputation for gobbing off at referees. Completely agree, all he’s doing is irritating the officials which in turn will eventually cost a decision or another ten metres, unless he grows up quickly! Talented but far too petulan...

Re: Dai on his way!

Hope he is well.Hope it is not because of one of the following...... Is there a report on Salary caps forthcoming.? Is the club being liquidated ? ......and could there be a link between the first point and Wasps seemingly "letting go" quite a few of their better ( more expensive ) players recently.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2

I think people are looking at this from a too narrow viewpoint, yes May is a good player but we need the money elsewhere to give the quality ball to him. So we let him go so we can afford to put the money elsewhere to then give him quality ball so he can still score for us whilst he is playing for ...

Re: Scotland V England

I have read what Jones has said about the Scottish rugby fans. As I was watching on tv there was one fan who was yelling at Farrell and then gave him the universal “maxwell house, shake your beans” hand signal. Totally over the top. Whilst mouthing the words that Farrell was enjoying fornicating se...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 2

I agree. We've seen this numerous times. Someone the welsh want playing in Wales? Holmes or, more likely, Reffell? Speculation is a wonderful thing and passes the time over a pipe or two.... so a little deductive reasoning suggests that by eliminating the impossible whatever remains, no matter how ...

Re: IS this season a waste of money and time

I think it is important to enjoy the journey as much and getting there; so should Tigers ever win the Premiership again I hope it won't just be the final that I enjoy.
