Re: Saracens are relegated!

Now they have had the total points deduction increased by a further 70 points to a total of 105! From Gavin Mairs (Telegraph): 'Premiership Rugby confirm update to salary cap regulations: * Any club who has breached cap/suspected of breaching the cap can be subjected to a mid-season audit. * Failur...

Re: Saracens are relegated!

" Because of Sarries overspend, in effect, overall, the Prem clubs are currently employing more players than they have the salary capacity for. Something has got to give for next season - lower salaries? fewer players employed by Prem clubs? less overseas recruitment? " That assumes the other clubs...

Re: What Now For Our Season?

Seems like the Challenge Cup might be our only hope of wrestling an ounce of integrity out of this season! Another disappointing display away to Bath.. I was desperately trying to be positive this term but I really just can’t see how it’s possible anymore.. I think I need some time away from this d...

Re: Bath vs. Tigers - Sat 25 Jan 15:00

Sounds like Hooper thinks we are inferior material judging by his comments on BBC "We let Leicester dictate the tempo of the game, we knew with their forwards that they would slow the game down, and we were getting to their levels rather than those we wanted to set." And it sounds like some Tigers p...

Re: Gallagher Premiership this weekend

I am doing what Mrs Flashman said I could never do and multi task whilst watching the Tigers game on the IPad and the Bristol V Glaws game on the tv, I am getting the distinct impression that Dallaglio hates Nathan Hughes. Every time he mentions Hughes it is disparaging and never complimentary. The...

Re: Bath vs. Tigers - Sat 25 Jan 15:00

I can see the scrum being a bit of a dogfight, Obano and Judge are very capable scrummagers I suppose the weakness could be not having Dunn at hooker but Bath’s scrum is one of the best in the league. They will be missing Dunn, Ewels, Batty, Faletau, Mercer, Stuart and Underhill so I’d imagine we s...

Re: Borthwick

surely if the club are in position to announce his appointment they must also know when hs start date is and not some vague end of season - really pleased with this arrangement just want to know WHEN!!!!! For me the RFU statement could be clearer but I think it is still pretty clear. The quotes fro...

Re: Borthwick

New twist! The 'confirmation' of Borthwick joining at the end of the season from the RFU has been removed from the BBC article. I read on Ruck.co.uk that Tigers and RFU can't agree terms and I hear a rumour via a connected friend that Borthwick could now be going to Sarries!!! I am not too sure why...
