Re: Hosea Saumaki - Dark Horse | Leicester Tigers Tribute
Saumaki and Kini are very good players, but they've played nine times between them this season. They didn't play much more last season either. I really like both of them, but it's not efficient use of the cap to keep on two guys that we don't use. Other than an odd spark, Simmons, Ashton and Potter...

Re: Head On : Rugby Dementia and Me
The only way you are truly going to protect players is if you either make the game some form of touch rugby or you just disband the game totally. Either way the game of rugby does not survive

Re: Head On : Rugby Dementia and Me
It is a deeply sad thing what has happened to Steve T, however I'm an ex-player and we all knew what could potentially happen by playing a full on contact sport like rugby. There are many more professional players (like Lewis Moody) that have put their heads in awful places on multiple occasions and...

Re: Hosea Saumaki - Dark Horse | Leicester Tigers Tribute
Excellent, Stan! Does anyone have any real info on why we see so little of him? I think it mostly down to where he is in the pecking order. Currently above him as wingers: Watson Potter Ashton Steward (if say Brown or Atkinson at FB) Porter (if not at centre) Simmons Then there's him & Murimuri...

I’ve not been too impressed with Harry Potter this season. He’s been average at best in my opinion.

Re: Tigers post Borthwick - next Head Coach?
It's a massive loss and in my honest opinion will kill any hopes for success this season. You can't lose two of your most influential coaches, which equates to almost a third of your coaching staff and not suffer. Wiggy is a great guy but he has almost zero coaching experience and considering he has...

Re: Next England Head Coach (Pre &/or Post World Cup)
I would be disappointed if Steve decided to ditch us mid season and I would be disappointed in the club to allow it. I've also seen the rumour that he would be taking Sir Kev too.

Do think Tigers have missed a trick to raise additional funds by not live-streaming both games on the website for a small fee.

Our attack in the midfield and out wide is extremely woeful. Attack was clueless. I do think Saffers got away with a lot. This new crop of refs are truly awful. Having said all of that I don’t think we deserved to lose by that margin.

Never put Steve Borthwick down as a liar, but there is no way that Freddie’s substitution was an injury

Agree with all previous posts. Lot of respect for the coaching team but the decision to take Freddie off and put JVP to full back ultimately cost us the game.

Re: Sale (H) 23rd October 2021 - 3pm
Just finished watching the full match as was out earlier.. my thoughts: Cracking defensive effort from the lads once again. Sale are a really well drilled, physical and powerful team and until the Dickson charity show in the last 10 minutes they couldn't find a way across the whitewash. Bit surpris...

Re: Midweek Game - Wed 09 Sep Away to Wasps
All we need to do is improve our defence and our attack. :smt002 But more seriously, forget the next few games and start again next season. I really can’t see it being much the different next season. Yes we have players coming in, but squad depth is appalling. From what we’ve seen over the last six...
