Re: The Rugby Paper : Leicester Tigers Article

I hope so, It would be interesting to know how many player movements other teams have had. We need to pick a coach, hopefully we now have and commit. 5 years minimum let him build the team he wants. I think we are in a current similar position to wasps. New coach, recent poor runs, looking to build....

Re: The Rugby Paper : Leicester Tigers Article

100 players in and 120 out in 7 seasons 🤯 plus manager/coach changes. No chance of that working. Especially when some of this 120 out were some if the 100 in! Need to give the new structure of coaches 5 years now. No changes. Build a core of a squad for now. Then a core of academy grads for 4 years ...

Clubs commercial presence

I have been looking at different clubs online stores. Tigers is massive in comparison and reduces a lot more.... Too much stock? Wasps stores is incredibly small and seems to not be owned by them. How can two big prem clubs be so different off the field? Are tigers still really in a different league...

Re: next manager

He wouldn't come back - we have burnt that bridge. Plus - good luck getting a world class coach to work with our board. That is why we currently have an ex player who is out of his depth as head coach, exactly what you accuse Cockers of being. full circle but with a downward spiral towards relegation.

Re: Dear Murphs

Im not sure I want stability, I want progress..... the threat of stability at this current level is not worth thinking about. We would become worcester. RE: DEAR MURPHS Unread post by Dr H Flashman MBE » Sun Dec 16, 2018 4:15 pm Not sure that would bring any stability. I fact I would suggest it woul...

Re: next manager

We were 5th at the time they sacked him. To quick to pull the trigger. (clearly did not work either). Main issue was that they brought Aaron Mauger in and compromised his position and muddied the waters. He should have been given the respect and time to sort out the purple patch we were in at the ti...

next manager

Bring.Back.Cockers! what ever it takes. Discipline from the director of rugby downwards. How bad was loosing semi finals anyway? - would be great now! I respected this club for its tradition, loyalty and history. Sacking Cockers was the worst thing we could have done, we became just another rugby cl...

Embarrassing / Too arrogant

Clubs is a joke, top to bottom.
What a fall from grace.

No commitment, sub standard players, lacking leadership

Relegation battle.

Can not begin to compare to teams of old.

Re: Manu to Racing 92?

No one is bigger than the club. Offer is there for him, if he has to think about it then forget it.

Take the money and play in France.

Delaying the decision penalises the club further, set him a deadline, stop giving him all the power here

Re: Is it a warm up problem?

Hi I have an opinion on this as a Physio (only an opinion) I think the warm time needs to be looked at and in sport it is a tricky balance as sports science, medics, physio and coached all have different agenda. coaches want to go through everything before a game, but actually for me it is far too l...

I think we have to remember we need to be good (minimum) all year round. Eastmond is a good non international that we help us in the international periods and injuries

Re: Winger Nick Malouf off

I think like it says it’s his reasons not tigers reasons.

I think it is with an aim of the olympics, maybe he just wants to go back to Oz or has goals in 7s.

I’m not worried, frees up some cap for someone 100% behind the tigers plan

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2017/18 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 3!

I don’t think drinking in the stands is okay for players. If it was, why do they hide it from camera?

They know it’s wrong and they know they are on club time
