https://www.rugbypass.com/news/diamond-demands-law-change-while-accusing-tigers-of-illegal-activity/ I see Mr Diamond is trying to suggest things to the referee already... If you can't coach a team to defend the rolling maul, why not just get the ref to ping them on it... At least we know what's wo...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

I agree - i appreciate that what I am about to say doesn’t seem to fit with DMK style (I’m being generous!) but Kelly at 12 with any of those 3 outside would be balanced. Kelly led the defence that season under SB from 12 and also offered some game management in their ball in hand as a second play ...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Centres have become an issue again really. Kata at 12 is the best back we have, also been signing of the season for me. BUT leaves 13 as a issue, Kelly pre England call up was playing amazingly at 12. But he isn't a 13 that can handle quick backs against Sarries who have a bit more direct backs he ...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

I agree with Scuttles point the ball on the floor and the energy and commitment from Glaws versus Tigers players tonight. That was exactly what I saw all game ... every single 50/50 ball was won ball by the Cherry and Whites tonight .. I said it at half time and again at full time ... and when you ...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

How can Hanro need a rest - he’s barely played for 4-5 weeks! He looks off it though. We were outplayed in the back 3 - Reffell was anonymous by his standards, Wiese trundled but didn’t really impose himself and cost us at the end with a lazy penalty that ultimately led to the final try. Kelly was d...

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Left ourselves too much to do from a lethargic 1st half

I have no idea how many tackles Kelly dropped off or missed through the game - it was at least half a dozen.

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45

Really disappointing so far. We may be clunky, but we've played as many as Glaws recently. I think only disappointing as the team on paper should be delivering more. But Gloucs IMHO have been far better than we would expect. I think we all expected a good win, but they have played well. Mercer has ...

Could be TBF - it has the hallmarks of something like that

Hoping that try gets us going

We just look undercooked, a yard off it physically and quality wise and a general lack of intensity

Heyes, Chessum (x2), FTT, Carnduff, Ilione, Whitcombe, Henderson, Reffell, Martin, Beets

That’s some long term forward quality around which you can build your wider squad

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm

Harhwrall, Rogerson, Hanro, Cracknall are all very similar players but Hanro is by far the best and most effective so has to play as much as possible. Playing 3 of them in the same team just doesn’t work IMO and we looked more balanced when Ilione came on and Cracknall also made a difference. Your ...

Re: Tigers v Gloucester - Premiership Cup Final - Friday 15th March 2024 - KO:7-45pm

2 yellow cards and the non yellow/penalty try against the Glos 9 were the key moments in the end.

That said, if you don’t even try to play any rugby for 70mins then you get what you get and can’t complain
