Re: Tigers v Saints

Whoever is playing is, to some extent, irrelevant. Most of the top internationals are back and we are playing our rivals. The correct attitude is what I want to see from the most junior to the most senior player. This is a win at all costs game because of history, because of our position in the tab...

Re: Tigers v Saints

Its a local derby so anything can happen but our back line in particular is a curious mix of world class and distinctly average/unproven. There have been enough times that the weaker team on paper has won so i'm not saying we won't win but it's not what i'd call a balanced team but hopefully my fea...

Re: Ben Youngs

Through an easy intercept pass and then went into Tigers mode. That’s the game plan though, Young’s and Farrell kick high & chase if the forwards stop making yards. A few kicks were long and he was probably on the field for 10mins longer than he should because he was clearly fatigued but that’s not...

Well Youngs, apart from one pretty darn good pass to Launchbury, was pretty bad for England too again yesterday.
Thought he played well as they all did first half and was still ok 2nd

Not sure how you can say he was pretty bad

Re: The Six Nations 2019

Anyone willing to revise their opinion of AWJ after this tournament?

He’s been immense for Wales and I don’t really get the criticism he gets on here

Re: Best Rugby Player Of All Tine

I remember watching and reading a few players like BOD suggesting that in terms of pure talent and genius Caucau was the best they’d ever seen. Shame he couldn’t do it for a longer period of time at the top level. More of a shame he never got on the plane from Fiji to come to Tigers when it was all ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 5

You can’t blame the pack if Youngs isn’t setting the tempo by tapping and going or effectively sniping the breakdown, something which he hasn’t done in years. This is one if those times where people would realise just how good Youngs is if he moved clubs. There would be a huge void to fill if Young...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 5

I really am not bothered whether he is or whether he isn't a Tigers player next season . We desperately need to rebalance the Squad to ensure that we do not have 6 highly paid players missing because of regular England commitments. Of the 6 I would prefer to retain Genge , Cole and May and let the ...

Re: Sale vs Tigers

We're re-building - yes, again, but there you are - and we've got 19 of the senior squad injured or on international duty. Nineteen. Nearly a score in old money. Being positive is easy when your team is winning but I rather think it's at times like this that the guys need our support. Not blind all...

Re: Scarlets and Ospreys

This is what happens when clubs are not run correctly and as businesses and why they need to whatever they can do generate income- such as build a hotel. People may slowly start to realise this. Then again, perhaps not with some people on here! That makes no sense. The hotel will generate income an...

Re: Manu to Racing 92?

This is isn’t the first time BFG has acted like this under fire. Regarding squad I still think our squad is better than the one we had in 14/15 😬😬 Well the depth in quality terms has been :censored: for a while to be frank. One mitigating factor in forward performance is that the likes of Genge, Sp...
