Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2019/20 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD

According to this interview, David Denton isn’t in the best of places physically, I’m sad to say... https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/sport/david-denton-i-wish-that-someone-could-tell-me-what-each-concussion-means-gh38kw2z8 “It’s the not knowing that’s the hardest part. Not knowing when — or if — ...

Was chatting to a Bedford STH, and they've been very impressed with Clare this season and are gutted to see him go.

Reckons he could end up being 2nd choice by the end of next season if given half a chance.
With our injury record he'll probably be get more than half a chance!

Re: New coaching structure?

I think the key to remember with all this is that none of us know anything about anything.

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2018/19 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACT THREAD PART 6

According to Nik Simon at Mail Online, Calum Green, Tomas Lavanini, Hanro Liebenberg, Nephi Leatigaga, Jaco Taute, Andy Forsyth, Jaco Taute, EW Viljoen and Noel Reid could all be playing at Welford Road next season. And reserve scrum-half Sam Harrison is tipped to be leaving the club at Christmas t...

Re: Mike Ford

What do you think RB - any logic (or hope!) in thinking GM & O’Gara could be a good fit for us as DOR & Head Coach?

Re: Tigers v Newcastle - 12th April 2019

I've read that Tuilagi went off injured. Do we have any details yet? Haven't seen anything yet but he had a huge ice pack on his left thigh when walking around after the match. They said tweaked hamstring at the time, pulled up when covering across late on. 1 week of full rest and care, then see if...

Re: Dear Murphs

It’s not about where the best candidate comes from, it’s about getting the best coach we can at the time. Way back when, Deano, Wells, Cockers were the best options and had success and just so happened to be from within the club (or near as dammit). At other times Lofredo, Meyer and Howard were and ...

I'm not confident the current BoD have the capabilities to resolve our issues or have really accepted them.
Indeed, history would suggest they don’t and won’t

Re: Tigers v Chiefs

I actually thought it was better than many recent performances (read into that what you will!) but put simply, currently our best wouldn’t get close to Exeter at 3rd gear - that’s the reality of it. The same problems are still there, the same players still produce the same level of performance and t...

Re: Tigers v Saints

Whoever is playing is, to some extent, irrelevant. Most of the top internationals are back and we are playing our rivals. The correct attitude is what I want to see from the most junior to the most senior player. This is a win at all costs game because of history, because of our position in the tab...

Re: Tigers v Saints

Its a local derby so anything can happen but our back line in particular is a curious mix of world class and distinctly average/unproven. There have been enough times that the weaker team on paper has won so i'm not saying we won't win but it's not what i'd call a balanced team but hopefully my fea...
