Re: Tigers v Bristol (H) - Premiership - Saturday 27th April 2024 - KO: 15-00
My view and my view alone...... Disagree entirely with those who would move Steward anywhere - perhaps in the future another position may be preferable to all concerned but as of now how about keeping it simple .... We are fortunate enough to have a World Class Fullback playing for us in Steward. Wh...

Re: Tigers v Saints (A) - Premiership - Saturday 20th April 2024 - KO: 15-05
Y'know all views should be welcome on a discussion forum like our own - without the need for vitriol or smart reply's ... In a way I am fortunate because of who I know at The Club and grew up with - so whether anything I say is believed or not really matters not to me.... The Club have faith in McKe...

Re: Televised Games
I’ve travelled to most away games and teams like Newcastle, Quins, Gloucester, Bath, Bristol have had great attendances as will Sale. I’m awful at watching on TV so find I’m less nervous when I’m at games and for me nothing beats being at the grounds! Agreed .Apart from the weather this season and ...

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
I believe and to an extent know that The Club are committed to and will back Mckellar at this time... The question - and I stress that this is my concern and my own alone - is whether Mckellar will show the same commitment and backing to The Club. He is a long way from home and human nature suggests...

....Soon be time ...best get ready ...patience is a virtue... All this teasing better be worth it!!! ...'worth it' is open to the individuals interpretation of who/what we have in terms of additions. We have and always had operated in a particular manner. Also , no disrespect, but please do not kid...

Re: Other European games - 05-07th April 2024
Leinster clearly a good side...but sheer power can negate ability as we have observed with Leinster in the last couple of seasons or so.
French brute force mixed with not inconsiderable skill and game plan to suit will triumph....In my opinion

Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2023/24 - KANGAROO MCKELLER: Do you come from a land down under? (Squad thread pt 2)
I really don't get the thinking, the scores against Leinster and the performance in the win against Newcastle do not suggest to me that we look so much better with Steward on the wing and Shilcock playing a more advanced role at fullback. To be honest I am not sure the results for England with Furb...

There is a very apt saying..
'Out with the old,in with the new...'
The Club are backing McKellar (rightly or wrongly) depending on your viewpoint and re. signings we have always tended to operate in the same manner.
Be patient,but be ready......

Re: Tigers vs Gloucester (H) - Premiership - Friday 22nd March 2024 - KO:19.45
I suspect shipping points and lack of attack are linked. If your only means of getting the ball up the field is to kick it to the opposition you will give them the opportunity to keep the ball and attack you. Points tend to be scored by the stacking side. Our attack seemed only to be the rolling ma...

Gentlemen,
bemoan the problems/issues with the lack of attack coach , but conceding 27 points at home in the manner that we did on Fri
and have on other occasions this season for me raises other questions...

Re: The Rolling Maul Podcast - Special Guests - Latest: Andrea Pinchen
The term professional would imply that they do it as a job for a financial reward. It was a well put together podcast by two knowledgable rugby fans and Andrea Pinchen answered the questions that were put to her, without breaking any confidences. I did not intend to imply they got financial reward ...
